Boston/Hornets
Hornets get Jaylen Brown Gordon Hayward (opt in) 14 pick.via Memphis 30 pick.via Bucks
Boston get Nicolas Batum (opt in) Cody Zeller Malik Monk 3 pick.via Hornets
Boston might draft OBi Toppin if he available
Hornets have two first round picks in return

This just makes Boston worse.

No chance from Boston.

Brown>>>>>Toppin.

Boston is not trading Brown unless it is for a star. Imo he is far more valuable than the 3rd pick in the weak draft.
Hayward would have to opt in to go.

Uts really really bad for Boston

It would take pick 3 plus another asset to get brown. He’s still young and is good enough to lead a team.

That trade proposal is funnier than Sarah Cooper.

I don’t see Brown as nearly good enough to lead a team. He’s a second option at absolute best.
I think Brown and 3 are even in terms of value. But Charlotte would prefer the shot at a young star in the pick, and Boston would prefer the guaranteed 3rd star they have. It’s a trade that just doesn’t make a lot of sense to the teams involved.

Regarding if Jaylen Brown is or will be good enough to lead a team. When he was a rookie I remember him being compared to Jimmy Butler. Compare Brown's 4 years to Butler's first 4 years and it looks to me that Brown is ahead. Brown is a better athlete and shooter, and is younger at the same point in their careers. Is Butler good enough to lead a team, because Brown is on track to be at least as good if not better.

I am a hornets fan and even I don't give brown for 3. pick.
