If the Rockets blow it up and look to start over with a new Front Office and Head Coach and they hold a fire sale, the Knicks should be all over it. It may finally be their chance to acquire a Superstar in their prime. They don't have the assets to acquire Westbrook AND Harden but I believe they can pull off one or the other. For Harden they would have to push all of their chips to the table. Westbrook would require significantly less and is probably the more likely of the two to be deal and they can retool around Harden rather than going through a full rebuild.

first of all if nyk wants to trade for harden they should let go death weight. if they release payton gibson portis ellington they can have cap room for harden. if houston give harden to newyork they won't take much salary. if they blow it up they will want less money.

houston will ask: barrett, robinson, knox. 8 pick, 22, 24, 26 new york picks and 21 23 dallas picks.

okc get sga gallinari and 5 first for pg. it will be same maybe more.

You can’t compare any trade to the George trade. The Clippers overspent because they were getting Kawhi too.

maybe they won't get 5-6 picks but they will want knicks picks not dallas or 27.
