Clippers can ask for whatever they want. There’s zero chance they get Tatum. There’s a better chance is trading for Danny Ainge.

I’d go even farther. Tatum has considerably more value than Leonard due to contracts and age.

And there’s just no reason to do this for Boston. It doesn’t make them better. The point of trading for a star is to pair them with their other superstar, not replace one for the other.

Kawhi Leonard is two time champions and two Finals MVP Jayson Tatum haven’t won anything yet @ least Boston vs Nets eastern conference finals game 7 Kawhi and Boston can beat them and go to the finals if Boston win championship against Lakers Kawhi Leonard will re-sign with Boston.

Kawhi is also almost 30 and on an expiring contact, while Tatum is 21 and still on his rookie contract. Those facts are huge factors in trade value.

Bmiller is way right on this one. I'd rather have Tatum for the next 15 years over a couple years of Kwahi. That's an easy, easy, easy choice.
