Warriors get Bam Adebayo

Heat get the 2nd overall pick (James Wiseman), Kevon Looney, and the Timberwolves' 2021 first round pick

Curry/Klay/Wiggins/Green/Adebayo is a complete starting five with no weaknesses. Bam is an excellent passer for a big and would thrive playing with the splash brothers. Bam and Green would be a defensive nightmare matchup.

Bam is going to be a RFA in 2021, which complicates the Heat's pursuit of Giannis or Kawhi. In this deal they get a younger big with just as much upside in Wiseman who will be on a rookie contract for the next few years. The Timberwolves' pick potentially gives the Heat another longterm building block. The Heat stay at a high level and position themselves better for the future.

I like this for the Warriors. It makes sense for the Heat as well since they're going for Giannis.

Shiller Bam is one of the best centers in the game at only 23 years old. He can do everything you’d want a modern center to be able to do. I think he’s easily worth two first round picks.

I wouldn’t trade a 23 year old all star for the hopes that I can get him again in the draft. That doesn’t make sense to me.

The moratorium period in free agency allows the Heat to figure out if Giannis or Leonard want to go there, then deal with Bam’s contract. And Bam gives Miami a much better chance at signing those guys than a maybe good young guy.

Bmiller Jimmy Butler will be the main attraction when it comes to free agency, along with Herro. I understand your points though. I added the Twolves pick to compensate trading a sure thing player for a maybe player. I’m a big believer in Wiseman but it’d depend on how the Heat see him to really know if they’d do this or not.

Totally agree with Bmiller. I'll tell you, straight-up, that I'd give three first-rounders from OKC in a heartbeat to land Bam. That would set their center position for the next ten+ years and, yes, he's that good. Make no mistake, you can't teach size with his skill-set; you either have it or you don't, and he has it.

Not a good trade for the Heat. Bam is just 23 and no one in this draft is worth it.
Plus, Miami can sign Bam and Giannis (of Giannis wanted to come) . They just have to make moves. They didn't have any money for Jimmy and they figured it out, its what they do. Its a horrible trade for Miami.

Adebayo's cap hold is low. 13 million. They can sign giannis then give contract to adebayo. It is not a rocket science.

I agree with Bmiller and the Heat would figure it out.
But it's a tempting proposition.
It's not only Wiseman for Adebayo, it's also the Wolves pick that could be great.
