I think the odds of getting Giannis is big enough that we put all our efforts into doing so. Besides, there are other players in 2021.

3 of the top 9 2021 free agents are current or former raptors (Lowry, Derozan, Leonard) .

There are 3 guys (Giannis, Lebron, Kawhi) that I’d take over Simmons from that free agent group. Leonard is obviously not happening. Lebron can be counted out too I think.

I dunno, maybe I just don’t believe Toronto pulls a big time free agent, but I’d do this trade if I’m Toronto.

The fans love anyone that wins. But if he were going to sign in Toronto, it would have been after he won a ring with them. The idea that he leaves after winning a championship, to then go back seems outside the realm of reality.

Also have enough sense to admit some things about your city suck. Winter in philly sucks. Winter in Toronto sucks worse.
