Washington "wants" 2+ years of Love cutting into Hachimura's minutes for development? I think its a great return for Beal, just not seeing Washington being too excited about being "stuck" with Love. Almost think that they would rather have Gordon + Fournier instead of Love + lottery protected pick.

Not enough for Beal. The whole point of trading him would be to get a young centerpiece and save money long term. They get an older player on a longer deal and don’t get a centerpiece. Beal is 4 years younger than harden and this return isn’t half as good as that.

Harden is also an MVP caliber player. Beal isn’t in that top 10 player elite tier.

I don’t think this is quite enough for Beal, but don’t expect a Harden type return.
