I honestly think it’s best for kings than the rest of them lol, Hayward let’s Hali play 2 as a starter while Hayward adds more defense than Hield would and can still score/ shoot. Thad is an upgrade defensively over Bagley. Then can use the 1st on Mitchell/ Johnson.

Trade uses up last of cap space ($10 mil) the Kings have and does not address the hole at the center position. And the Kings are just exchanging Bagley being injury prone for Hayward being injury prone. would much rather see the Kings try to sign someone being one of the 11 teams with over $10 mil in cap space next year.

Also, just because it is the "best for kings than the rest of them" does not mean that it is good for the kings to do.

hields not negative value. kings are far from being contender Hayward and thad young don't really help. they'd be better off staying young for now.

Right now, Lakers would take a healthy Hield in a heartbeat over resigning Shroeder.
