Why would the Rockets trade for Dame? Dame and Christian Wood won’t be enough to be serious contenders out west. Plus you’re going to have to give up more than that if you want Portland to take Wall’s contract.

No they won't trade Brown for Lillard. If they really want to go the route of adding a star, they can open up the cap space to sign the younger Beal (Tatum's Bro), and keep Brown. They are not trading for Dame.
