Even if that first is unprotected, I can’t see the Pelicans making this deal. That’d be a sure fire way to piss Zion off. Only way they’re trading BI is if they’re upgrading the roster by adding a superstar, not downgrading to a guy who can only shoot and a bust who plays the same position as Zion.

Sacramento is a great destination for Ingram, but i feel like the Kings should give something extra and they should try to find a third team to swap Bagley for a pick.

Adding to that Casual comment, I believe Haliburton is the minimum requirement to get Ingram, but I still doubt the Pelicans do that deal.

@Psiphon the Pelicans are already feeling the pressure with Zion. If they were to trade their second best player, they would need to instantly get better. Although a package built around Haliburton might be fair value wise and give them more assets to work with, it wouldn’t make them any better in the short term. I can only see NOLA trading BI for Dame, Beal, or a player of that magnitude.
