Portland - Celtics
Portland: Jaylen Brown, Romeo Langford, Payton Pritchard & 1st round pick (maybe 2?)
Celtics: Dame Lillard
Celtics getting prime Lillard, rough start of the season for him and this is not the Lillard i know, something's wrong and maybe Portland might consider sending him away for a hefty return and the Celtics with their prospects could be a prime trade partner. Simons could take the next step in Portland.
Portland new roster
Simons / Pritchard
McCollum / Langford / McLemore
Powell / Snell
Covington / Nance Jr
Nurkic / Zeller
Celtics new roster
Lillard / Schroder
Smart / Richardson
Tatum / Nesmith
G.Williams / Parker / Hernangomez
R. Williams / Horford

So Jaylen Brown is waived according to your new Portland roster?

They won't trade Brown for Lillard, nevermind the additional assets.

Meh, I really hate it for Portland. They’d just end up trying to run the same group of vets with Brown. But that team is worse than with Dame by a lot. They’d be in worse purgatory than they already are.
Why in the world would you not trade Brown for Lillard? That’s a massive upgrade.

Boston would not and will not trade Brown for Lillard no way no how. The age difference and financials guarantee that.

Because Lillard is 31, will be making over 40 mil soon, and does not make Boston a championship team. Boston wouldn't even consider it nor should they.

Mmmm. I would like to think that a Lillard for Brown swap will be a start of a championship contention in Boston. Lillard + Tatum is already a championship caliber 1-2 punch. However, moves for Boston should not end there. They could make some more "small" moves to add more pieces if they want to win now.

Easy yes for Portland wouldn't do it as Boston.
