Lakers don't want young players and picks. This makes them worse now. And AD is still a top player.

AD is a top player, but Barnes and Hield would make LBJ and Westbrook better, those picks and D Mitchell give the Lakes more options:
They can start a rebuilt and make the playoffs with LBJ or they can trade the picks for another star.
