Wiseman was the number two pick in the 2020 draft. If there was a re-draft, what would he be, about 3 to 5? I don't think Turner is worth a pick that high, much less adding in another good prospect.

Nightcap: Wiseman had an unimpressive rookie season and hasn't played at all this year, not to mention pre-draft concerns about his commitment. His value isn't that high. Kuminga had to be included for salary purposes, although Looney would work too. I think you're undervaluing Turner; at 25 years old he's leading the NBA in blocks per game and shooting 40% from 3 on nearly 5 attempts. He would instantly make GSW downright terrifying.

And to your re-draft point: I think Melo, Ant, Haliburton, Cole Anthony, Saddiq Bey, and maybe even Patrick Williams would all go ahead of him in a re-draft.

I see the argument for Cole and Williams but I don't think quite that highly of Bey. Still, I see Turner's value as more of a late lottery pick. maybe I'm wrong.

I think Turner doesn't get a lot of love due to his unimpressive rebounding numbers but he's pretty much the perfect complementary big to have on a championship team. Elite rim-protection, elite shooting, and still only 25. I'd be surprised if you can get that for a late lottery pick.

A good 20 games and he's an elite shooter now? He's likely to fall back to his norm. All I'll say is if he's on Golden State and I'm an opposing coach, I want him to shoot a lot.

On Golden State he'll get way better looks than he's getting right now, which would only serve to raise that %.

He's a catch and shoot guy now. An opposing team would certainly want him taking shots from Curry and co.
