Utah says yes and Boston says no. Ingles value is very low and Utah is looking to move him for perimeter defense. Given his age, contract, and their situation, Boston would not give up Nesmith for him, nor would they take on the additional salary when they are so close to getting below the tax line.

ingles has value for a team that he fits well on, however to the celtics he does not have value and they're not shedding any salary that they're trying to get off of. your point makes no sense in this context carl. think again.

ingles value limited to an expiring contract? . he's durable and a career 40 from the 3 and 45 from the field and a 2.5 t/ o, if this guy can still put up numbers from last year he could be a vital part to any playoff team. specifically the lakers and raptors.12 points off your bench with a team that already sports 5 players putting up 15? theraptors are only two abench players way from being serious contenders.
