Mavs may redirect Wood, if each signs Brunson / Warren in a S&T "first" it fits with the rules as well:

Pacers > Wood, Green, Brunson and Powell, Bertans
Dallas > Turner, Warren, Hield, Brogdon

Mavs may not have the best starting five, but the best team - five of them will always have a good night.

Smith, Warren
Hield, Bullock

actually it doesn't fit with the rules because Wood has just been traded for and can't be packaged with another player for the next 6 months.

@windsrap. Actually, that does not apply if Wood is traded before then end of this season. However, that creates its own issues like Houston having roster spots this year and Dallas filling empty roster spots this year.

the trade isn't official yet. so they can make it three team deal or they can make two seperate deal. it is not that hard.
