Yep because top teams always let their main main guys walk lol. What no one seems to understand is Phx has all the leverage. Phx had no problem giving ayton max money last season, just not max years. If they match an offer they save even more money per year, plus save an additional year. Plus they will get more in a trade next season then with a sign and trade. Lastly teams are reluctant to offer restricted free agents max deals, because it ties up majority of their cap space waiting for other to to decide to match. Leaving them with nothing.
