the NBA is at a point where you have contenders that have overpaid aging stars and you have lottery teams that are full of young talent. it is a very confusing time for the league and any and all trades become really complicated because the good teams want those young guys for the old guys in trade and it makes no sense for the rebuilding or mid-build teams to even engage, unless they acquire valuable assets i. e. young players in return or multiple draft picks.
