Young, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania and Sam Amick, had an exchange with McMillan at their shootaround on Friday afternoon. Per the report, McMillan asked Young if he was going to participate in that shootaround, receive treatment during their walk-through and then play in the game. Young said he wanted to focus only on his treatment for his right shoulder, and then decide later in the afternoon if he was going to play that night.

McMillan, though, didn’t like that. Since he didn’t participate in shootaround, McMillan reportedly told Young that he could either play off the bench or not show up at all.

A little drama is the ATL.

Is McMillan trying to shoot his way out of Atlanta? Lol I'm not sure i see it any other way. They aren't trading Young.
Personally, i think the Hawks were dumb in not keeping Doncic instead of trading him for Young. My opinion.

I think 99% of NBA fans aside from Hawks agree that the Doncic trade was bad for Atlanta.

Doncic didn't want to play in Atlanta
He prefered playing in Europe overplaying in Mephis, Sacramento and Atlanta.
