Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports said this week on his podcast (h/ t AllRaptors) that there is a belief the Orlando Magic are ready to talk “serious money” with VanVleet in the summer. VanVleet, currently with the Toronto Raptors, can become an unrestricted free agent by declining his player option for 2023-24.

I doubt Raptors gonna let him walk in free agency for nothing

Raptors doesn’t have anybody’s to replace him as a Point Guard/ Shooting Guard.

I rather hold on to him

Plus Magic has cap space to sign VanVleet

Like S&T Isaac & Fultz + 1st round pick & 2nd round pick to Raptors which is Nuggets pick & Pistons pick

No teams not gonna give up multiple 1st round picks during sign and trade

Raptors take Isaac as a back up plan if they decide to Trade Anunoby or Siakam also take Fultz as replacement of VanVleet.
