It's not an overpay. KCP is a negative, and the picks are decent but not spectacular.

I like it for both. Not really sure what Memphis is planning, but they’re not a contender and getting a bunch of assets isn’t bad.

Orlando got a great third option. And they gave up a lot, but realistically they gave up a late lottery pick, probably another late lottery pick, and 2 mid to late 20’s picks. Plus a bad contract and a neutral contract. I like it for them a lot. That’s a fun big 3. Bane fits so much of what they needed.

No matter what that's an overpay, having said that, the NBA market is a bunch of overpayment.
