Warriors trade Harrison Barnes

Warriors receive Heats 2016 1st round pick top 10 protected from Sixer's. Also receive Covington

I'm a Sixer's fan and would love to see Barnes here in philly. Warriors get good value for a bench player.

Sixers get ripped off. The highest that barnes is worth is a couple 2nd rounders

Covington looked really good now that he's finally had a chance to play. It's hard to trade him and it's hard for warriors to trade barnes.

However, warriors are going to ahve to pay Barnes soon. Covington is super cheap for three more years. I think this trade could go down fairly. The money makes it a good trade for the Warriors.

And yet sixers are third worst team in league. Warriors are top. Offer a few 2nds and get nothing. No one except Philly would do this. It's a horrible trade. And it's weird, most around the league highly value Barnes. Not so much about Covington. The trade is a failure.

The GSW had the best record in the league and are in the finals, why would they trade away one of their starters? They obviously have a combination that works really well. He's under contract for 2 more years. The year he's a free agent the cap increases to an estimated $108M. Lee will be off the books by then. They'll be fine.

Trade is no good for either team, especially gsw. I think sixers have other plans for the heat #1 pick next year, not Barnes. And gsw would never mess with the great chemistry they have. just doesn't make much sense to me either way.
