Sixers would have to give some more to Bucks since Middleton > Okafor as far as trade value given Middleton's 3 and D style is valuable in any system. This may help persuade Bucks to do the deal since as is I think they're giving up too much. Okafor and Parker is a pretty good return for Butler (Two high level prospects that are young and Bulls will be able to build and market around) but that team would struggle with spacing due to lack of shooting although that isn't really as a direct result of this trade (having Rondo and Wade puts you in a difficult place where you need a stretch 4 and capable shooter at sf) . I think Bucks would need more than Butler since Middleton is a great piece and Parker showed flashes of his great potential last season.

Bucks give way to much, Butler is worth Parker alone!!!

I'm not doing either if I'm the bucks.

Wow that's a lot for the Bucks to give up.

Butler is worth more then Parker. . Stop

Sixers may need to add, though I think taking on MCW should be enough to make up the difference.

Taking mcw doesn't make up the difference, come on. He may have no value but it's not negative value he doesn't have a huge contract.

I think it's fair value for everyone. Sixers should be fine giving up Oakfor for Middleton and mcw. It's not an amazing return but it's a potentially nice addition to the group.

For the bucks. It's a lot to lose but a lot to gain too. Jimmy butler immediately gives the bucks a go to guy with Monroe in the paint and Giannis running point. I really like that core. And You have to realize parker hasn't done anything in this league so far. I agree he has potential though of course but at pf. I just don't know if he has a future all star look to him. Middleton is ok. Nothing jumping out at me as amazing aside from shooting and I hear his defense is pretty raw. Mcw I think the hope would be a return to philly would be a return to his form when he played there.

Bulls get a lot to get better now and in the future for jimmy butler who is a top quality player. It will be worth the deal for them.

MCW doesn't have a big or long contract not sure why he'd be considered a negative asset. He has shown if nothing more he can put up stats. He played some of his best bball with 76ers and they don't have anyone much better so I don't see why they'd be against taking him. His lack of shooting may not make him the best fit but he has talent which 76ers don't have too much of especially at guard.

Jaw.

I agree mcw is pretty much a bust for bucks. He just doesn't fit with them. Sixers would Tia whim back with hopes he can get back to his old form with better teammates.

Sixers got rid of mcw because he couldn't shoot so why would they want him back now. They have their PG in Simmons they need shooters.

@tre Mcw can back to his old form with "better teammates"?!?!!!! The sixers are awful and their players are nowhere near the Bucks current roster. Prospect level and current talent the bucks are leaps and bounds ahead of the sixers.
But anyways. Bucks not giving up Middleton and Parker for butler. He is a phenominal player, but I think they would rather keep the two unless more is added. What about some combo of, saric, or some pick they have stocked away. That's just to even out the value for what the sixers get and give. I still would be very hesitant if I'm the Bucks.

Bucks

I disagree. Giannis isn't Simmons but they're close talent wise. Bayless is on the Sixers who was an underrated part of the bucks offense. They have no replacement for him. Parker is young and really hasn't lived up to the hype yet. I believe he will over time. Monroe is a great per guy but a poor defender.

As of now. I'd rather be the Sixers then the bucks. More money. Younger guys. More picks and more cap room later.

But good luck to both teams. I root for the bucks to get better and they should.

O and I was actually referring to the Sixers team he left when he first got trade to the Sixers team they have now. Nothing against the bucks. They're a decent young squad. Still a superstar away from contending though.

Giannis is better than Simmons.

Giannis is an interesting player. Not sure he's capable of being mvp. But he's certainly the bucks best player.

once switched to pg. in his third year. playing for the first time. he averaged:

20pts, 7.2 assts, 8.2 rebounds.

Playing the position for the first time ever. he's 21 and shoots over 50% from the field.

Again, why isn't he capable of being mvp? Dude realistically can average near a triple double, while approaching 25pts a game. Never understand what your statements are based off of, rather than baseless opinion. Good job.

I actually watch the games. You can throw stats all you want but if you watch the games you can see the obviously flaws and shortcomings. Mcw scored 16.7, 6.3 assist and, looked like a superstar on defense having 2 steals a game.

But he went to another team and disappeared.

Stats are over valued. They are support for opinions that should be drawn by watching the actual games. Instead of drawing your opinions off the stats alone.

Giannis is great but the transition was far from seem less. He became a ball hog of sorts and it was interesting switching. That being said I loved it. Especially for the first year move. Too early for mvp canadate talk but the kid is young and skilled.

21.) 19 Aug 2016
19 Aug 2016 19:15:37
but giannis scored at 50% and displayed range.

you are such a hypocrite. You quote ppg as the end all be all. But when someone else does. you don't care about stats.

get out of here. learn consistency.

22.) 19 Aug 2016
19 Aug 2016 19:54:51
He's not capable of being mvp while on the bucks*** is what he should have said. Mvps need to be on winning teams and that market isn't going to attract enough players to do so. He'll be playing elsewhere.

Hamburger.

I state stats to back up my opinion. Like when I say Okafor score 17.5 a game against DOUBLE TEAMS. Stats don't show you that. You base your opinion purely on stats. Your an analytics guy. Not a basketball guy. It's fine. A lot of NBA executes are analytics guys. But you have to watch the games too or your stats will make you blind.
