Clippers-Jazz midseason trade if Clippers are underperforming and CP3 is a threat to leave in free agency

Clippers get George Hill, Alec Burks, Jazz 2017 1st rd pick, Warriors 2017 2nd rd pick, and Thunder 2018 1st rd pick
-Get something rather than losing CP3 for nothing

Jazz get Chris Paul
-This makes the team a true threat to the Warriors

Paul/ Mack/ Neto
Hood/ Exum
Hayward/ Johnson/ Ingles
Favors/ Diaw/ Lyles
Gobert/ Withey/ Bolomboy.

It won't happen because CP3 would want a larger market. Already happened in his youth, now he's edging prime without a ring, he'd only leave to go to a top 5 team in a bigger market.

i don't think CP3 would leave the Clippers, but that Jazz team could be good.

If CP3 went to the Jazz, I think they'd be a top 5 team. If I'm him, I'm just trying to at least make the conference finals at this point.

That would be no threat to the Warriors or Cavs.

If Clippers felt they were going to lose CP3 I'm positive they could get a better offer than that. I'm not sure how CP3 would feel about going to Utah but from a basketball perspective I think the Jazz would be a rather attractive option with a relatively young team looking to take the next step and really would have all ready if not for their lack of a pg. The only place I'd rather go from a purely basketball perspective than Utah is San Antonio and maybe Indiana. There aren't really any big market teams that need a pg and are in a position to contend. I assume CP3 would prefer contending over going to another big city (otherwise he'd just stay in LA) .

I guess maybe the Knicks could make sense since Rose is a FA next summer. But I don't think they'd be as good of a team as Paul on the teams I previously mentioned nor have the assets to make an attractive offer for him and still be attractive.

Yeah they might be good @NBA, I'm not saying that. But really could they get past San Antonio, Golden State and Cleveland? No. He'd have to go to a team with top 10 talent in a bigger market. He's proven he's not into smaller markets, and Utah is even smaller than New Orleans.

I will pass least not at that price
Can't give George Hill, Alex Burks and
Jazz pick round 1 in 2017
Warriors 2nd rd pick in 2017
OKC 1st rd pick in 2018

I stop at the OKC pick in 2018! Reason
No Durrent this season and after this season maybe no Westbrook therefore making that OKC round 1 pick in 2018 could be sweet pick.
