Bulls trade - Doug MCdermot and 2017 1st pick
76ers trade - Nerlens Noel.

We lose our best shooter and a pick we need for a center we don't need. The Bulls are great at getting late round talent. Not worth.

"Late round". LOL.

Your backup center is a back up rookie pf. You need depth at center.
I actually see this as a pretty accurate trade, and likely works for both teams.
Sixers can slide simmons to the 4, mcdermott at the 3 and spread the court.
Bulls get depth, and it costs a backup who they won't be missing too much because butler is a workhorse and snell is a very serviceable back up, and likely a pick around the 20 area.
Not bad.

Not bad but not quite.
When did Snell become serviceable?

Sixers don't do this trade. Bulls pick is mid round pick. No value there. And Mcdermott has shown he can shoot. And do absolutely nothing else. And he is a match up nightmare when he guard anyone.

Noel could easily play the four or five. It's a little light for Philly, though.

Noel can play the four? He can't shoot, which has become a prerequisite for today's Power Forwards.

They got Taj Gibson and Jimmy Butler lat3. Valentine still needs to develop, so you can't use him as an example. The east is weak. Therefore, they will probably win a healthy amount of games. Which then translates into a late pick. I'm confused? @BHC.

Hey triangle, there are two sides to the game. Offense. And defense.
The point with noel is that he can cover on defense at least 2 positions, somewhat 3. The current starter, Gibson, was a whopping 0 for 0 from 3. Hardly a major floor stretcher.
And just as easily as you can claim striking gold in Butler and a solid 6th man/ finger starter in Gibson, the Bulls have another 5 busts per each success. let's not get crazy.

Wow! I agree with Burger. The final realization to this is the fact that Noel is a free agent next year.
