Utah gets Nerlens Noel and Robert Covington.

Come in hoddy.

How does that even remotely help the Sixers? We loss our best shooter and best defensive player for yet another big man who isn't even as good as Noel.

I am a big fan of Trey Lyles. He is six foot ten inches, and play all aspects of the game well. Noel has 1 year left on his contract and an offensive liability, and Covington is a backup on a good team. Trey Lyles, to me, has near all star potential. Look at some of the film on him from last year and in the summer league. I don't think Utah makes this trade because they see Lyles potential.

Trey lyles? He has zero star potential my friend. . He'll be lucky to play in the starting line up on Utah this year. I'd take Noel ten times out of ten. And Noel and Gobert would be a formidable combo. Much better then Gobert and trey. I'd pass everytime.

No because lyles can actually space the floor. Gobert and Noel=no spacing at all. Plus Noel would be behind favors anyway.

Utah says no.

Fine you go and keep trey and watch him do absolutely nothing this year. He's a dime a dozen and plays zero defense. Trey lyles is a bench piece.

The king. So what are we talking about here. Sixers get a back up pf for two backups in Noel and Covington. Sixers still lose that trade. It's a ridiculous trade. The only difference is Noel and Covington could start in the NBA where as Lyles has zero chance to start in the NBA.

i believe Trey Lyles fits better at the small forward position.
