Cavs go after walker trade anyone but James, and love.

cavs get Howard and walker, batum

hornets get Thomas Thompson nets pick and Smith, shumpert and fry.

Hornets waive fry. and start over with money and draft picks.


in the off-season they can resign Thomas or let him walk and they can go after better players with the cap space they have

All Hornets really get for Walker here is the Nets pick, and that is not enough. And how can Cavs move the pick unless James commits to stay? Cavs have good players, but few have trade value.

Not sure the Brooklyn pick will be traded, or at least not until the end of the season. Teams will want to know where that pick lands, before any significant is traded for it.

The Hornets would be paying Tristan Thompson 15 million, smith 10 million, shump 10 mill, Cody seller 13 mill, MKG 13 mill, Marvin Williams 14 mill, lamb 7 mill and frye 7 mill.

Also the Cavs are giving up Isaiah Thomas and a top 10 pick for kemba (who isn't even as good as Thomas, batum (worst contract in the NBA) and Dwight Howard another horrible multi yr. contract. They are bringing in 3 new players with a total pay roll of about 62 million dollars. That is blasphemous.

Why would Cleveland hang onto the Brooklyn pick? If Lebron leaves they will get plenty of high draft picks. If they have a hope of keeping Lebron they will do everything they can to try and win this year.
