John Wall for Chris Paul who says no?

For Washington they can make an strong playoff push around a back court of Beal and CP3. Paul's contract is shorter and is capable of playing 80% of a season.

For OKC they take a swing at a higher potential PG who when healthy was a top 5 PG in the league (2 years ago).

What are your thoughts?

John Wall may never be the same.

Not until Wall comes back. As of now, OKC would rather have Paul. They can flip him for something.

Washington should trade Beal, but it's a good trade if they want to compete. The problem is, that CP3 is going to be a pain in the ass in Washington, because he wants to play for a better team.

OKC can take the risk, they have a lot of rookie contracts and they don't get much value for Paul.

The Thunder say no. Wall is impossible to trade, has an extra year, is making more (OKC is over the tax still), and Wall looks like a guy that will struggle to come back from that injury. The Thunder would need multiple picks to do this.

Only way that happens is if Okc gets 3 1st round picks unprotected or something crazy like that.

Wizards should be like OKC and be in asset collection mode and build for the future. To me, that means trading Beal before he becomes a free agent n 2021.

INSANE idea.
Only way that sounds good is if they throw in Beal. Then the answer should be ABSOLUTELY.
Otherwise, whatever Wall was before, he will never be again and that’s a ton more money than what we are trying to get rid of with PG.
By the time Wall comes back, there will only be 2 years left on CP’s contract.
