Reported that there may be some mutual interest between Pau Gasol and the OKC Thunder. I think that's an incredible match. He could def start for them at the 5 next to Ibaka, but I think he'd be even better off the bench. However, the front court is a bit crowded. I think they are best served looking to move Perkins and/or Collison and their next summer expiring contracts. It could net a future pick and maybe a role player. Thoughts? How could they make it work and what would the money all look like?

I like this idea. I think a good scenario for a Perkins/Collison trade could be to the Grizzlies. If the Thunder throw in a second round pick they could et Courtney Lee and Sign and Trade for Mike Miller.

They could then re-sign Caron Butler and Hasheem Thabeet and then sign Pau Gasol for a reduced salary ($6-10 million)

Lineup would look something like:
PG: Russell Westbrook - Reggie Jackson
SG: Courtney Lee - Jeremy Lamb
SF: Kevin Durant - Caron Butler - Mike Miller
PF: Serge Ibaka - Perry Jones III
C: Pau Gasol - Steve Adams - Hasheem Thabeet

This lineup would facilitate for both a big lineup and you could shift Durant down the PF and play small!
