He didn't say 12 isn't fair, he said magic will match. aka, the rules of a restricted free agent. unless the nba made new rules stating a team can match an offer to a RFA, unless the offer is made by the lakers because they deserve it more.

^Draymond Green is a RFA and it sure sounds like he's staying in GS. Steve Kerr said he'll be with the team for 8-10 years, Bob Myers (GM) said he was born to be a warrior, and Joe Lacob (owner) said he will pay the luxury tax to keep this team together
