Fantastic for DET. Clear cap space for Horford to come home. ORL makes the worst trades time and time again. Meeks is an injury prone selfish player who plays zero defense. Surprised DET didn't give the 2nd.

Thought it was a great move. The second round pick was the lesser of the two second round picks that we have for the 2019 draft so we essentially gave up nothing. Before his injuries, he was putting up really nice numbers with the lakers and gave KCP a run for his money every now and then for the starting position with the pistons. Gives us more depth at the 2 and he can hit threes at a high level. if he stays healthy, this can be a great move.

I agree, nothing for nothing but DET gets $7mm of cap space which is by far the most valuable aspect of this trade.

Although smart trade for Detroit they probably could have pushed for maybe another second rounder or at least a bit more.
