SAC - ORL

Sacramento receives: Vucevic, Gordon, Augustin, Frazier

Orlando receives: Bagley, Dedmon, Joseph, Ariza, Giles, SAC '20 1st rounder (top 4 protected)

SAC depth:
Fox / Augustin / Ferrell
Hield / Bogdanovic / James
Barnes / Frazier
Gordon / Bjelica / Gabriel
Vucevic / Holmes / Swanigan

ORL depth:
Fultz / Joseph / Carter-Williams
Fournier / Ross
Isaac / Ariza / Iwundu
Bagley / Aminu / Jefferson
Dedmon / Bamba / Giles / Birch

Sacramento goes for the playoffs this year with 4/5 starters on declining salaries going forward. Vucevic + Fox complement each other nicely and Gordon hopefully benefits from the Kings being able to play faster again. They sacrifice some long term potential, but Gordon is still pretty young at 24.

Orlando goes for the rebuild with high-ceiling players and complementary veteran players on shorter contracts. They have scary defensive potential - even if their Center prospects don't work out, they can run Isaac at PF and Bagley at C. Building around Isaac probably accelerates his development, and they get to pick twice in the first round next draft.

Sorry, Kings aren't trying to get older. I'll stay with the young core and the defensive pieces than what Orlando is offering.

sacramento gets screwed.
Bagley has the potential to become better than Vucevic.
And the Kings should keep their picks.

I agree. Sacramento has a nice little team. Stay the course and build through the draft.
