Not a very original one but.
Timberwolves send:
2020 1st overall pick

Magic send:
15th overall pick
Aaron Gordon
2022 top 8 protected 1st round pick

Timberwolves use 15th. 17th, and Josh Okogie to go up to 7 with the Pistons.
Twolves select Okongwu. 2 defense first wing defenders to work with a very offense first roster.

Magic: Take highest upside player Anthony Edwards/ Lamelo Ball. With Isaac out for the year, trade Gordon, get a high upside rookie, suck, and then have another great pick in the awesome 2021 draft class and get Isaac back with that now immensely more talented core.

Minnesota can get Gordon without giving up 1st pick.

Sorry, Gordon isn't worth the 1st overall pick. If he was a better shooter, maybe. If Orlando wants the 1st pick, they are going to have to include an unprotected 2021 1st (since Minnesota already traded theirs to Golden State) .

Beg to differ, but you’re not looking at Gordon for the 1st, it’s Gordon and 2 firsts for #1. Are you certain of that 2022 picks value? Maybe loosen the protection, but that value seems about right.
