boston is getting a better fit with Tatum and the best player

Murray can play pointguard in atlanta and J Brown can become the prime scorer

Memphis moves on from the Morant drama, getting a youn all star back and a first round pick.

Ja Morant is the best player? Hmmm . Recent troubles suggest otherwise.

Morant has the most troubles, but he is the best player.
It is close, Brown is a great player too, but i have the feeling he won't reach his full potential next to Tatum. In this trade Tatum and J Brown both get a star playmaker to play with.

Brown is going to be a free agent next year, Morant is under contract for 4/ 5 years. This is a great return if they don't want to pay J Brown a max contract. Morant's contract is $ 197,230,450, Brown's contract will be $ 290,290,000

And i believe Boston would be a good environment for Morant.

I don't get it.

I love it for Boston. Morant and Tatum would be a dream together and giving up JB is worth it (Ja is crazy but would likely be more relaxed as the number 2)

Works for the Hawks because JB fits better with Murray and then will stay competitive for a while like the old Derozan/ Lowry Raptors.

Why would the Grizzlies do this? Ja is their star and Trae doesn't give them anything different or make them contenders. The late first doesn't mean anything. Memphis wants to win now and Young/ Bane/ JJJ doesn't get that done.
