Celtics-Thunder

Celtics: Steven Adams and 2nd Round Pick
Thunder: Evan Turner

Thunder:
PG: Westbrook/Augustine/Payne
SG: Waiters/Morrow/Roberson
SF: Durant/Turner/Singler/Novak
PF: Ibaka/Collison
C: Kanter/McGary/Johnson

The Thunder finally acquire some insurance for Durant considering he and Westbrook have way too many offensive obligations and because he's coming back from injury.

Celtics:
PG: Smart/Thomas/Rozier
SG: Bradley/Hunter
SF: Crowder/Young/Jones
PF: Lee/Sullinger/Johnson/Jerebko/Mickey
C: Adams/Zeller/Olynyk

The Celtics do not have a single defensive big man and Adams solves that issue. Also the Celtics are not winning a championship this year, so why should they retain Turner's contract when he only has 1 year left on it? The Thunder are in need of immediate bench depth and are willing to invest in a 1 year player because this year may be their last to contend. Before Turner walks away as a UFA, they can get a defensive center and another pick.

You think this makes sense for both teams?

Steven Adams is more valuable than Turner. Don't know why a pick is going to Boston. I would consider

OKC gets Turner, Zeller, and 2016 2nd

Bos gets Adams and Roberson

Pelicans - Bucks

Pelicans: OJ Mayo and Jarryd Bayless

Bucks: Ryan Anderson and 2nd Round Pick

Pelicans:
PG:Holiday/Cole/Bayless
SG: Gordon/Mayo/Bayless
SF: Evans/Pondexter/Babitt
PF: Davis/Cunningham
C: Asik/Ajinca/BIG PERK

Bucks:
PG: Carter-Williams/Vasquez/Guttierrez/Ennis
SG: Greek Freak/Copeland/Vaugh
SF: Middleton/Anderson/Inglis
PF: Parker/Anderson/Plumlee
C: Monroe/Henson/Plumlee

Bucks have amazing defense, but need floor spacing which Anderson brings at the cost of an expensive backup SG and a point guard who won't find play time.

Pelicans get rid of Anderson's expensive contract and also finally add much needed depth to their backcourt.

No reason for Pelicans to do that.

Bulls - Lakers

Chicago has a logjam at the 4 while LA has a logjam of guards. Let's help both teams out.

Bulls: Nick Young and Tarik Black

With this trade, the Bulls gain two advantages. First, they pick up Nick Young, a solid shooter and scoring option backing up Dunleavy and also brings a new personality that the franchise can profit upon. Second, they open up time for rookie Bobby Portis who flashed potential at the summer league. The only down side is the risk of Doug McDermott falling out of the rotation because he also has shown potential at summer league. This can easily be avoided if Young is subbed in at SG as more of an offensive option in contrast to Kirk Hinrich. In both scenarios, Coach Hoiberg has a lot to work with.

Lakers: Taj Gibson

With rookie D'Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, Kobe Bryant, along with the addition of Lou Williams, the Lakers already have enough guards to work with. In contrast, rookie Julius Randleand the inconsistent Roy Hibbert are not the best starters. Considering Brandon Bass and Robert Sacre are the alternative options, the Lakers are looking pretty weak down low. Coach Byron Scott discussed how there is a potential for Kobe to play the 4 and frankly, that is a huge stretch considering his physique isn't the same as it used to be.With this trade, they pick up a great backup PF which allows Kobe to play at the 3 and adds big man depth. The only cost is a player who would likely be pushed out of the rotation and a third string center.

So the Bulls give up gibson who has positive value and get back young, who has negative value. This seems fair.

what part of helping "both teams" out did you forget to include?

Gibson for l Williams would be an even swap. But I doubt if the Lakers would do that.
