Pacers knew, and now everyone that Sabonis, Turner can't share the floor. ATL options:

'19 1st

'19 1st

22 Apr 2019 19:14:42
Suns cap off the season with a big win at the draft lottery:

J.R. Smith

Draft Morant anyway, play the best one, develop, or trade the other.

22 Apr 2019 15:40:13
'19 drafted/day, Or '20 1st #1-20

1.) 22 Apr 2019 17:23:11
All that for Love? SMH.

2.) 22 Apr 2019 17:45:59
Patterson was barely in OKC’s rotation and Roberson has either no value or negative value until he can prove that he can still play. It’s basically Grant and a late first for Love. OKC is desperate and doesn’t have many assets. The Cavs are tanking and have plenty of expiring contracts. They like Love as a mentor and a guy that take some offensive responsibility off the young guys plates. It doesn’t seem like they’re even actively shopping Love. The Thunder basically have two choices. Either take some more big swings or rebuild. Their fans seem on the verge of turning on Russ.

1.) 22 Apr 2019 02:51:52
Not a bad idea.

20 Apr 2019 19:09:35

Kings looked better in a 2 PG set with Shumpert, and Fox in the line-up. OKC is a good defensive team, Barnes does that, and can hit corner 3's.

1.) 20 Apr 2019 19:33:00
Roberson has zero value coming off injury and length of contract.

Would do Schroeder + Grant for Barnes + 2020 2nd rounder thou.

Then try to flip Schroeder to Orlando or Phoenix (if they cannot draft Morant) . Maybe send Schroeder to Orlando in a S&T for Vucevic? Or to Phoenix in a S&T for Oubre?

2.) 20 Apr 2019 20:02:07
Roberson is an expiring contract, what are you talking about? I thought this was trade proposals, not MC Homer time. In a kings homer dream I assume whatever nonsense you want applies. I wouldn't know I was being serious.

3.) 20 Apr 2019 22:44:38
Sorry. Accidently deleted portion of previous post. Reberson has no value and Schroeder has 2 years left on his deal.

Plus Schumpert was NEVER a playmaker when he was with the Kings. He was purely a "3 and D" wing type playing the 3. I didn't say anything previously because it was obvious you didn't know what you were talking about.

4.) 21 Apr 2019 00:45:32
Intelligent people don't have to put others down to know they are smart. Intelligence is being able to entertain an idea without accepting it. I'd say your Ideas were accepted as homer ideas, and discarded for the same reason. Looks like we agree, you're self-indulged, and I'm dumb according to you. I'll take dumb if it prevents me from having anything in common with you.

Trying to think of a logical, explainable reason that Durant would play for the knicks next season. Could the Knicks sell/give a % of the team to KD's mom? I know you can't play, and own, so this seems within the rules? It's a way of sidestepping salary restrictions

1.) 18 Apr 2019 13:30:39
Knicks no, but Brooklyn?

2.) 18 Apr 2019 15:36:05
It’s illegal for anyone to knowingly try to work around the cba.

3.) 18 Apr 2019 20:23:23
There isn't a chance in haedes then, that Durant would go to the Knicks?

4.) 19 Apr 2019 02:22:56
I would say there is a chance, but I do not think it is greater than the chance of Durant going to some other teams. I guess the funny thing is that there is no PERFECT destination for Kevin Durant. So it depends on what he values the most and what teams can offer him that.

13 Apr 2019 19:44:37
Ok we know a little about some Laker turmoil, but who traded Zubac, and why? Could have just waived Beasley, and Muscala is no prize

1.) 14 Apr 2019 01:17:28
One of the most horrible moves by the Magic era.

2.) 14 Apr 2019 01:43:12
I think they’re just over confident in their ability to go out and get a max guy. His contract is up and they thought they’d need to let him walk at the end of the year to sign a max guy. The return is probably the more confusing part. Maybe, they assumed Mascala would be a guy they could retain on the minimum after getting a max guy. If he’s already in house, it’s peobably an easier sell.

3.) 14 Apr 2019 06:34:43
A little trigger happy? People on here could have flipped Zubac for more. Pretty scary, looks like pelinka was taking cues from Magic, learning. They need the one and only jerry west back where he hails from, with Billups as his understudy.

4.) 14 Apr 2019 21:38:20
Jorga- Jerry's son works for Lakers. If he comes back it would be to groom his son not Billups. I do hope Billups gets a job so he is off tv.

5.) 14 Apr 2019 23:37:37
Jerry West doesn't own the Lakers, so I wouldn't know who they would require as an assistant. As it sits West would be Pelinka's assistant, so I'm not sure West would have one anyway. Their corporate structure is a little off.

05 Apr 2019 20:42:36
WCS is unhappy in SAC? Wants to not be a rim runner? He just crushed his trade value. Lonzo Ball move, not wanting o be traded?

1.) 05 Apr 2019 20:55:19
Being a free agent might have crushed his trade value too.

2.) 05 Apr 2019 21:10:21
He's an RFA, not a hot commodity, and a former lottery pick for SAC. Letting him walk instead of a S&T would be a punch in the gut. How often does a team not pay a forner lottery pick the QO?

3.) 06 Apr 2019 04:37:40
Not often but he isn't worth a qo.

4.) 06 Apr 2019 07:11:08

5.) 06 Apr 2019 14:46:33
Randle was good at least, and was left to walk because of James. Had a good final laker season. That isn't exactly a comparable situation. The team had to try, and lie yesterday about a personal matter to quiet things down. WCS is less than half as useful as Randle. The worst part is he doesn't want to be a rim runner? Where does he plan on playing, Australia!

6.) 06 Apr 2019 20:24:41
WCS has "misguided" beliefs that he is the next coming of DMC. He feels like he hasn't had the opportunity to expand his game so he can earn a max deal. But WCS has statistically earned his QO be over $6 mil for next season. Kings have to decide to offer it and see if WCS accepts it or goes into RFA with the Kings having the rights to match any (probably lower) offer. Kind of a tough choice for the Kings as I believe there is a fair chance he accepts the offer and then walks as a UFA in 2020.

7.) 06 Apr 2019 22:08:59
D. Jordan, let WCS walk. Pay Jordan 15-18M on a 1+1 team option. Trade a couple a seconds, and capspace for a 1st, draft a SF to back-up Barnes next season, and for the future. Fill out roster with picks, 2 solid back-up vets for the 3rd string, maybe an affordable short term, low tier, free agent or non drafted player or 2. Playoffs 2020.

8.) 06 Apr 2019 23:55:49
Waiving all their cap holds (including WCS QO) will get the Kings $40 mil in cap space. That is why I think Vucevic is the most obvious FA to go after (3 years, $60 mil? ) .

As for cap space deals, I think ATL will be all over them (and possibly NY if they fail to sign FAs) .

9.) 07 Apr 2019 05:25:34
I don't think vucevic will be available for that to the kings. Why wouldn't he stay in Orlando for that kind money? Bamba is green, Vucevic doesn't want to move 4,000 miles away for less than 30M. Especially if they make the playoffs. He'll stay until Bamba is ready.

10.) 07 Apr 2019 15:26:07
So Orlando is going to sign him to a 1+1 with a team option or do you expect Vucevic to accept a 3-4 year deal with another team like Sacramento if the money is comparable?

11.) 07 Apr 2019 16:10:55
Lakers could kept randle and signed james. They chose kcp and rondo for randle.

12.) 07 Apr 2019 19:38:57
II, they chose a Klutch Sports client and a player on the same BBall IQ (but not talent) as Lebron over Randle (who is a poor fit with Lebron compared to Kuzma) .

Kind of see the logic in the decision, but that doesn't make it a good decision.

13.) 08 Apr 2019 16:14:33
Fredman- kcp being the only proven shooter on that roster was a cluster from day one. True his agent helped the deal but Lakers really need an overhaul.

14.) 08 Apr 2019 18:30:04
Agree Shiller. The moves were more about making Lebron comfortable coming to LA versus having the best roster to play with Lebron in LA.

15.) 09 Apr 2019 18:46:12
Fredman what is comparable about 20M and 30M? More years, same money is a good use of limited time in the NBA during your prime? I don't think so. Moving costs time, and money. Stay in Orlando for 20M is even better for vucevic, than going across country. You want Vucevic in SAC? Pay. You know the small market free agency drill.

04 Apr 2019 19:04:59
Why aren't the NBA players mentioning the 100's if not 1,000's of cured AIDS, and cancer cases Nipsy Hussle was making a documentary about? Dr. Sebi, credited with this cure, also died under sketchy circumstances. Helped countless people too poor for healthcare. Nipsy being slain in a gangland shooting instead of an orchestrated hit sounds better?

1.) 04 Apr 2019 21:01:52
So he was killed because he was making a documentary about a proven fraud?

2.) 04 Apr 2019 21:52:55
So he was killed in a rival gang slaying? What gang does a rich musician belong to? Dr. Sebi won his court case at the federal level, producing "cured patients", not sure what story you're familiar with. A verdict was rendered, and it wasn't fraud, or against Dr. Sebi. Happily give you the federal case # for you to view the transcripts if you actually care rkenne. Nick Cannon has said he will finish the documentary, wait until it comes out before calling a guy a fraud that has an awful lot of support as an altruist from some of the poorest, and richest people in this country. Since when is diet considered fraud anyway? Better talk to Oprah she's not exactly skinny, and still slangin' weight watchers.

3.) 06 Apr 2019 21:56:29
Did you really just ask what rich musician is associated with a gang? Um. Essentially every rapper. It’s literally called gangster rap. Jesus.

4.) 06 Apr 2019 22:48:56
What gang? I asked a serious question, and your best insult is its called gangster rap? Any more cliche's? What are you 55 or something? It hasn't been gangster rap since the 90's. That was the point of my post as well. That's a little bigoted that every rapper is in a gang isn't it? So if they are shot getting into their car, it's because they are a rapper? What was Nipsy doing for the community then that several NBA stars referenced without specifically saying what made him so generous, and loved? Gang-banging, and Gangster rapping? Because that garners so much love, and community support usually? Good one.

I want to know what MEM did besides playing time to get Caboclo playing like he belongs in the NBA?

1.) 28 Mar 2019 21:41:21
Maybe he just needed a chance.

2.) 29 Mar 2019 01:21:36
I hope he's turned a corner. Good for MEM, he replaces Parsons for cheap.

3.) 29 Mar 2019 13:42:19
Replaces Parsons? He doesn't shoot. Parsons still has a year left and I doubt he is counted on for more than 25 games by management.

4.) 29 Mar 2019 16:09:36
Look at what caboclo has done the last 3, he's hitting 3's. I'm very surprised by his play, Christian Wood too.

I'd add another shooter at the PF, OR swing for Walker in a S &T. Thunder compete for a title with a lineup like that. RW isn't as valuable as KD, and KL. SVG would be a great fit. He's smart, and he knows team build, and fit. Presti pulls the personnel strings, but he's pretty good, and I think he and SVG would agree on a lot.

I'd rather have Favors than Barnes and Miami taking on Rubio would surprise me a little.

Randle is my choice to overpay. Not a top tier FA, team is retooling in NO, jazz have something good going, right age, overpaid would be cheaper than love. Fits with Ingles, Gobert.

UTA should get a #2, or #1 if they are going to spend that kind of money. Mitchell is having a hard time being a #1 in the playoffs. The trade is fair value, but Utah getting older, and a pretty wide open offseason cap-wise to retool a bit is my hesitancy. They have Grayson Allen, KCP maybe, for a little less.

I'd keep Kuzma. Salary.
