the only trade that would be worthwhile to the Wolves I'd the first one, they will not trade Lavine basically for the Lakers pick

No thank you.

In this league, you don't trade bigs for smalls. The Sixers current run of high draft picks solved the biggest problem in the NBA- getting talented big men. Now they have the picks spread out to acquire talented smalls. They'll wind up with either Mudiay, Russell, Winslow or Johnson with their first pick and some combination of Grant, Dunn, Booker or Dekker with the later picks from Miami and OKC.

As for the Lakers pick, that's one of the most coveted picks/assets in the league. It literally could be the #1 pick overall in 2017 or the #4 pick next year. Phoenix didn't want to give it up and the Bucks should have kept it instead of acquiring MCW.

Frankly, I'd rather have the Grant kid from ND than MCW and he'll be drafted in the 10-15 range this year. So the Sixers got the most coveted pick in the league and can replace MCW in the 10-15 range.

And please stop trying to dump Bennett on the Sixers. One bad year is a fluke. Two bad years is a pattern. Something's not right about the kid.

Embiid will not be traded for let's say oak or towns. Sixers need to stick with him and he is a much better player than those two.

Still wondering what the above statement is based on. Especially in the case with Towns. Okafor you can make a case that he doesn't play great defense. But Towns clearly does. Their stats are very similar in college. The main difference, Embiid he'd a knee injury that wiped out a few games in college. A back injury that shut his entire tournament and end of the year down. A foot injury that wiped out the entire first year. A reputation for being lazy and refusing to partake in conditioning. In fact, getting sent home at one point for getting into a major blow out with the sixers conditioning coach.

Towns on the other hand. 2 years younger, zero injury history and seems to be a VERY hard worker and quick learner. Oh and he shoots about 20% better from the free throw line which typically translates into better jumper. If I was the sixers GM, and was offered a trade of Towns for Embiid, I'd have to think long and hard about that. NO center has a successful history of coming back from a foot and back injury and having a long healthy career afterwards.

Case in point, Bill Walton, Greg Oden, Rik Smits, Mark Eaton, Brook Lopez, etc.

It'll be fun if Embiid breaks the mold, but based off his attitude and ability to consistantly get hurt. I wouldn't bet on it.

I can agree with some of the things u said but if embiid can stay healthy then he is better than oak and towns.

Sixers pass on both trades. You have to blow us away to get Embiid. And Bennett just doesn't do that. Neither does lavine. It would have to be minnosotas first this year and their first next year unprotected. And that's too much for them to give up when they could just draft towns or okafor. Assuming they get a top two pick.

Embiid if healthy would go number one in this draft pretty easily. Okafor is great offensively but in the NBA his size will hurt him. He has little athletism which is surprising given his footwork and catching ability. Towns has that athletism but has a serious lack of polish. I see teams single cover him every game because they know he's not a dominate force down in the paint. And defensively he is protected by a center in stein who anchors the team.

Embiid if healthy could be an animal. There were some most likely false reports out there about him being lazy and weighing 300 pounds. I'm positive that that man never weighed 300 pounds so that part of the report was absolutely false. Truth is now he's extremely toned and strong now for sure. Got a ways to go but expect a star from this guy if healthy.

And those guys u named that had similar injuries as embiid were not as athletic as he is and that can be his major upside.
