76ers blockbuster
78ers/OKC
76ers trade next years own #1, Lakers #1, Miami's #1 and Dario Saric to OKC for Durant.

OKC is now Westbrooks team. Don't know how KD is going to like being the #2 guy. OKC gets a huge return, 2 number ones most likely in the top 8, and another in the top 14. Potentially 3 lottery picks next year and Saric.
Sixers get the superstar they need, bring Durant an hour and a half up interstate 95 from his home town, and have what it takes to make a move in the east very soon. A frontcourt of Embiid, Noel, and Durant is scary good.
I realize this is far fetched, and the only reason KD might say yes is because he's close to home, but could it happen?

Too much to send to OKC for an injury problem. Jeff Ruland anyone? Andrew Bynum maybe?

OKC does have tax problems though. So maybe they decide to move Durant in order to keep Kantor and get some young guys to extend their window. But I think the Sixers aren't ready to take on that player just yet.

Posted something similar a lil while back. I think it good value for both teams. But only if durant signs long term before the trade.

injury problem? He broke his foot. He isn't a heavy guy. hell be fine. Phillyrich, you are ridiculous. Bynum had busted knees. Ruland. get over it, its 30 years ago. And you of all people, ignoring Embiids injuries. He has NEVER played a season. At any level. Yet last years mvp and the best scorer in the league finally hurts himself in a very fixable way, and you go oh, his career is done. you're ridiculous

Pizza, why are you being an ass?

In Philly we spent a ton on Bynum and got severely burned. Then we spent two years basically destroying the team to recover picks and develop players.

Do you really think if we traded all that- 4 1st rounders- for Durant and his foot problems persisted the fans of Philly wouldn't burn the place down?

That's a huge gamble to take, I think. He was to be back this year and had complications. I"m sorry, but I'm not taking your assurance of "he'll be fine". I'm ridiculous? I never said his career was done. Its a risk. I explained why I wouldn't take that risk. If you're offended, that's a you problem.

And I haven't ignored Embiid's injury. Is he involved in this trade scenario? No. I'm concerned about having 1 of those guys, much less BOTH of those guys. I'm very concerned about Embiid. Again, its a risk. We have him- for one first rounder, not 4.
