UTH: N Young, J Randle, 2015 #4 pick

LAL: T Booker, R Gobert, 2015 #12 pick (via UTH), 2015 #47 pick (PHI 2nd rd pick via NOLA), & PHI '16 1st rd pick (via OKC) top 20 protected

PHI: J Hill, LAL '15 1st rd pick (via HOU) #27

UTH moves up in draft to get Rusell or Mudiay. They get bench scoring in Young and another young, high ceiling PF in Randle.

Russel or Mudiay/Burke
Exum/Burks/Milsap
Hayward/Young/Hood
Randle/Jarrett
Favors/FA

LAL get young athletic center on cheap contract who defends (3rd most improved player this year) and depth at the PF position with Booker. They drop down to #12 and select S Johnson if available or R Hollis-Jefferson to play SF. Sign K Love to max deal (4 yr $82M). Sign G Dragic to max deal (4yr $82M). Split MLE to sign Aminu & McDaniels (60/40; Aminu 4 yr $13.1M player option 4th yr & McDaniels 4 yr $8.7M player option 4th yr). Price to min deal (2 yr $2M, team option 2nd year). These moves put LAL in position to compete and build toward future. Kobe comes off the books next year (-$25M and the cap goes up about $22M giving them about $47M to spend without going over the luxury tax threshold). Total salary for '15-'16 = $80.7M (luxury tax threshold = $81M).

Dragic/Clarkson/Price
Kobe/McDaniels
Aminu/Johnson or Hollis-Jefferson
Love/Kelly/Booker
Gobert/Black/Sacre

PHI takes on Hill's expiring contract to help them meet the minimum salary requirements. They give up a late 2nd rd pick this year (they have several 2nd rd picks this year) and a top 20 protected 1st rd pick next year and receive another late 1st rd pick this year.

Philly in terms of picks, loses. So why would they take extra salary? You would have to give them Hill and the pick with nothing in return like the McGee trade they did. Maybe in this case 2 seconds

Lol absurd.

Sixers lose picks in this deal?? Take out the okc pick next season. It only top 15 protected btw not top 20. It makes no sense for the Sixers to take on a contract and loss picks.

That's fine, I think it's better that way anyway. Take PHI-LAL trade out. LAL don't exercise team option on Hill's contract and let him go. They keep their late 1st rd pick this year and still do the trade with UTH and FA signings.

UTH gets N Young, J Randle, & #4 pick

LAL gets T Booker, R Gobert, & #12 pick.

Why's it absurd? Give reasons.

Gobert don´t move this is the reason for this trade is absurd

Its not "absurd." Its a good start. But remember that the Sixers are very young and targeting growth for another 2-3 years. J. Hill is 27. He'll be too old for the Sixers at that point. He's a pretty good player but I don't think the Sixers will lose out on draft picks for a guy that won't be there for them when its "go time." He'd be a good player to be acquired by a team closer to the top, not the bottom.

Plus, he's only got another 2 year on his contract then becomes an UFA. That's not a good pick up for the Sixers, I don't think. I
