This starts a draft day bidding battle for #3 since the Sixers really don't want another BIG.
Ths Sixers are willing to go no further than #8. Denver steps up to the plate, since they need a BIG desperately and know that the Kings are focused on WCS.
Nuggets get #3 #35
Sixers get #7, the rights to the better of the 2016 1st rounder of the Knicks or Nuggets (the worse going to Toronto). Sixers also get the Portland protected pick currently owned by Denver (top 15 protected). The Nuggets still have a pick next year, the Top 5 protected pick of the Grizzlies.
Nuggets draft Okafor at #3
Sixers get their choice of whoever is left of Mudiay, Winslow, Hezonja or Porzingis. Two of these guys will be available at 7.

Denver already has a good young center. No need to trade up for Okafor.

This is the kind of deal I was thinking as well. But
. I would just take okafor though. Find a rotation of okafor Noel and embiid that works probably with t rob or sims filling out the roster. We have to be willing to take best player available until we are sure of the guys we have. Can't be sure on embiid yet. I think Noel is solid and has huge upside for a two way player. Okafor is the Noel on offense. He's got upside on defense but not there yet. Embiid is a wild card. Either way we never have foul trouble in any game at the big spot. Never have a bad big man on the floor. If I can't get Russell I got to take okafor and build from their.

What about mudiay. We need to start building a starting lineup and oak is not the answer. He really isn't that good. He is way overrated and kaminsky and towns r way better than him. He is a bum and frank proved that he ain't s***.

What's being missed is that the Nuggets have the right to swap picks with the Knicks. That opportunity is unprotected by draft position. That's extremely unusual for the NBA and an opportunity/gamble just too tempting for Hinkie. That could literally be the top pick in the draft next season if Melo simply turns his ankle stepping onto a sidewalk.
So Denver gets their big guy to help their abysmal front court. The Sixers still get a desired player at #7 plus another "asset" for HInkie to play with. The Sixers could end up with their own pick, LA pick and Knicks pick all in the top 10 next year. Plus have MIami and OKC picks later in the draft to use as sweeteners.
