Not going to happen. SVG is not going to take on a big contract of a 30+ year old SG for a starter in Ilyasova, bench player in Meeks and Jennings who if he proves he is healthy is a starter in the league. Now something about SVG before you post this doesn't fit his plan at all.

It's an expiring 25 million dollar contract. u realize how much cap space that will give them next year? And it's a player who can compete and help them get to the playoffs

I like the trade just think Detroit needs a stretch 5 to replace ilyasova

Detroit can't make this trade it will kill there depth. I like Johnson and he's a huge expiring contract but it doesn't make a lot of sense to trade a starter and your best 2 bench players at this time.
