Knock should get walker. Maybe first rounder instead. I don't think the clippers are interested in hawes.

I meant Knicks shouldn't get walker. Instead a first rounder.

Riiiiight tregib. Knicks give up Melo and get just a first in return? Hate on him all you want, he clearly has substantial value among the nba, even if you act like he doesn't.

Pizza melo has done jack. Yes he had value five years ago as a good scorer. Now he's old and often injured. You can't get top value for an old player anymore. That and he makes way to much money and is on a long term deal. The team that would take him would immediately have a ton of cap going to an older declining player. Knicks are getting mkg who a young former top pick and a future first for melo. That's close to fair value. I think they would be able to keep Early as well. No reason for them to have give up a young player with melo.

Deal should be melo for mkg and a first rounder. Period. But idk about cap problems wise.

Old? So lebron has no value? They are about the same age. So I guess that old comment makes no sense. Especially because Melo is transitioning to pf and a shooter not a driver so technically he's in his prime. Whoopsy

Constantly injured? He played 77 games the year before this one and led the league in minutes. Minus this year he's never played less than 55 games in one year. Other tha. That basically averages about 70+ games a year. Rather consistent.

Decline in scoring? Led the league in pts 3 years ago. Last year was top 3. Again, makes no sense.

I get it, you want to sensationalize him getting a common maintinence surgery while the team tanked to show he's done. Washed up. Awful. But the stats don't prove it. His cap number is big now. The massive bumps in cap over the next two years make it reasonable. You can talk about how he isn't worth it. Knicks fans are thrilled we have him. He can attract people. He always makes the team relevant and a potential winner. And the team is making great moves. Don't be so bitter about your sixers that you have to insult others.

PERIOD.
