Trade Utah Jazz - Atlanta Hawks
UTA: Dennis Schroeder, Mike Scott, Lamar Patterson
ATL: Trevor Booker, Trey Burke, Elijah Millsap

With Utah in need for a point guard (after Exums injury), couldn't be the Hawks Dennis Schroeder a good fit? Schroeder said that his goal is to become a starter, but with Teague around in Atlanta this seems highly unlikely, also as both hardly shared minutes together on the floor last season. In Utah meanwhile he very likely would be the Starting-PG (not sure where Trey Burke's development is going), with being 21 he fits in the Jazz young squad and also would have a fellow German with Tibor Pleiss on his team (both are currently team-mates in the Euro Basket). Besides as big man, Trevor Booker could play some SF in Atlanta and the Millsaps are united, as well.

Atlanta would want more. Probably a first rounder.

For who?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think booker has ever played small forward.

Yeah okay xD, but hey according to Bball-reference Booker played about 13% as a small forward in his first 3 seasons with the Wizards. But nonetheless he'd form a good back-up big man duo with Tiago Splitter I guess. And now as the main argument for this trade: Yesterday I watched the test game between France vs Germany and Rudy Gobert and Dennis Schroeder once seemed to have quite a friendly chat after a foul. Trade fixed. No really, I think the interaction between these two would be awesome, as Schroeder often drives to the basket to pass to an open big man and Gobert finally could finish these plays, while Pleiss often fails to prevail on the German team.

The point is you're not giving Atlanta enough for Schroder.

I agree this is a good start for a trade. Schroeder/Scott for Burke/booker. I just think Atlanta would want more, because its Utah that needs a point guard, not the other way around. Maybe a swap of first round picks this year would do it.

But I think, more than likely, they will make a small trade to bring in a 1year point guard to make due, such as Chalmers or bayless.
