It's amazing how fast people forget how good love was when he was the #1 scoring option. Compare love in minny to cousins in Sacramento. Incredibly similar. Loves stats dropped because he's now the third option (which is what he would be in Cleveland behind lebron and Irving) .

Love: 26, 12.5, 4.4. 46% shooting, 27 PER, 14.3 win shares. 7.3 value over replacement. +8.4 plusminus.
Cousins: 25, 13.4, 3.8. 47% shooting, 25 PER, 6.0 win shares. 3.4 value over replacement. +4.7 plus/minus.
In addition cousins turns the ball over twice as much. Worse free throw shooter. And cousins attitude is clearly worse, more techs. Defensively similar, neither tries very hard on that end of the court.
How is cousins sooooo much better?

Love has a bigger contract than the two also. Love is a stretch four who won't give you defense at all which allowed his teammate to come in for defense and landed him a fat contract to. Cousins is better defensively than love. You can build around cousins but can you build around with love?

Hey Ben, amazing how you have nothing on defensive stats. Which is half the game. What is love, 6'10? Must have averaged at least a block a game. Oh that's right, you ignored that. Loves defense is horrific. That's why cousins is far better. And he can play center. Love. Yup, again, can't. You're just wrong Ben.

Cousins is also a poor defender. He's lazy and plays half hearted most of the time on defense.

And both have proved you can't build around either of them. If love or cousins are your best player, you're a lottery team.

Where do you have that info on cousins? You are full of offensive stats for both. Cite some defensive ones that show they are equal. That's right, you can't. Love is far and away worse than cousins. He is one of the most one sided players in the league. Don't try and say cousins is that level because he is lazy. Even if he was, you can change lay. You can't change slow and unauthentic. You are just wrong.
