Hornets: Gobert, Fournier & Kemba

Jazz: 13th pick, 11th pick, Hayward, Washington & Noel

Hayward/Gay/draft pick
Noel/Azubuike/draft pick

Knicks: Rozier, Bogdanovic & 2 2nds from Jazz/Charlotte

2 trades for Brooklyn Nets

Brooklyn: Brogdon
Indiana: Harris, Sharpe, 1st round pick from Philly via Nets & 2nd round pick via Nets

- Brooklyn get the perfect off guard to play alongside Kyrie and KD
- Pacers get a young big they can develop and more assets. They can flip Harris again for a team that needs shooting

Brooklyn: Bryant s&t 3yrs/27mi
Washington: Curry

- Nets get a center who can shoot from the outside. A decent offensive threat
- Wizards get an insurance incase Beal bolts. They can also use Curry to gain assets at the deadline

Brooklyn Nets new roster

PG: Irving, Mills, Carter
SG: Brogdon, Thomas
SF: Durant, Brown
PF: Simmons, Aldridge
CE: Bryant, Claxton

1.) 14 May 2022 23:20:33
You do know that Brooklyn has Taxpayer Exception with which they can sign Bryant with?

2.) 15 May 2022 02:54:48
And that nasty hard cap for taking on a S&T player. good luck with that math. and doesn't the money have to be higher then the NTMLE to do a sign and trade?

3.) 15 May 2022 14:30:40
@windrap. I don't believe so. I do know that the first year of the new contract has to be a 5% raise over Bryant's last salary. So if they front load the contract, it should qualify. However, that just makes it less likely to fit under the Hard Apron Tax line.

4.) 15 May 2022 20:16:49
@fred. yeah, i looked it up after posting and i was a little confused. the player cannot be signed using the MLE and then traded. doesn't specify salary level.

Atlanta Detroit Denver

Atlanta receives: J Grant & B Hyland
Detroit receives: MPJ & 1st round pick from Atlanta & 2nd round pick from Denver
Denver receives: D Hunter & B Bogdanovic

Ivey (pick)

1.) 08 May 2022 13:35:29
I see Atlanta giving you a first-round pick and not getting significantly better for it.

2.) 08 May 2022 17:36:04
No from Denver.

08 May 2022 10:56:45
Clippers Wolves Pacers

Clippers receive: Russell
Wolves receive: Morris, Brogdon & 2nd round pick from Clippers
Pacers receive: Kennard, Mann & 1st round pick Minnesota lottery protected

Jackson /(draft)

1.) 08 May 2022 15:14:14
Not bad.

2.) 08 May 2022 19:26:38
Mann and a pick for only Russell? I wouldn‘t do that.

3.) 09 May 2022 08:40:49
i like this for Indy.

4.) 09 May 2022 19:58:31
If Brogdon had finished the season healthily, I would like this. I know they are saying he was out for tanking purposes, but he has such a history of injury it makes me uncomfortable. The guy has only managed over 60 games twice in his career. He has a lot of years at a lot of money for a player with that history.

14 Mar 2022 11:12:02
The Knicks get Donovan Mitchell & Royce Oneale

The Jazz get Evan Fournier, Julius Randle, Immanuel Quickley & 3 1st round picks without protection & 2 1st round pick swaps

1.) 14 Mar 2022 12:59:59
Talk about overpaying for Mitchell.

No picks to get the PG and bigs that they need.

2.) 14 Mar 2022 20:18:27
that is way too much for the Knicks to give up. even if you throw Gobert in there, it is still too much to give up.

3.) 14 Mar 2022 22:04:17
I agree this is too much to give up for Mitchell. The Knicks should at least try and keep Randle.

No bias, considering all of the teams current state, who will face in the finals in your opinion?

Phoenix vs Brooklyn

I don't know. But i believe whoever the Nets play in the 1st round will be upset. Kevin Durant is still the best player in the east. No judgment, just my opinion.

1.) 14 Mar 2022 09:47:59
That Brooklyn-Toronto play-in game in Canada will be interesting. No Kyrie (no unvaccinated visitors), Simmons is still a? and Siakim can "slow down" Durant.

2.) 14 Mar 2022 09:55:25
It's verry open

I hope CP3 gets his title
And it would be good for New york that Brooklyn wins it.

The Nets defeat Toronto
Atl defeat Charlotte
Toronto defeat atlanta

Round 1
Miami defeat Toronto
boston defeat the bulls
Milwaukee defeat Cleveland
The Nets defeat Philly

semi finals
Miami defeat Boston
Milwaukee defeat the Nets

eastern Finals
Milwaukee defeat the Nets

Minny defeat Clippers
Lakers defeat New orleans
Lakers defeat Clippers

Phoenix defeat Minny
Dallas defeat Utah
GS defeat Denver
Lakers defeat Memphis

semi finals
Phoenix defeat Dallas
GS defeat Lakers

western finals
GS defeat Phoenix

GS defeat Milwaukee

The Nets can upset Philly in the East, but they fall short against Milwaukee

I think that LBJ can upset some teams in the playoffs. And It would be more easy for GS to beat LA than Memphis.
GS can fall short agianst Phoenix in the Western finals if they have to face Memphis in the semi's. I also think that Phoenix would win over Milwaukee.

3.) 14 Mar 2022 14:15:42
For me its Phx vs Miami. I have huge expectation for both coaches.

4.) 14 Mar 2022 16:12:51
Unless Simmons is playing by playoff time, it’s hard to see the Nets go all the way with just KD and part time Kyrie.

5.) 14 Mar 2022 18:35:40
Cleveland is reeling and Toronto has leveled off. I have concern that the Nets will avoid the play-in.

6.) 14 Mar 2022 20:28:52
Wouldn't be shocked if it's a rematch of last year. I'll go with Suns/ Bucks.

Nets are just too much of a wildcard with part time Kyrie and Simmons not having played all year. Even if mandates are lifted and Simmons is on the court in time for the playoffs I could see chemistry being an issue, just from lack of consistent playing time together.

7.) 14 Mar 2022 22:07:11
I have Miami and GSW.

8.) 15 Mar 2022 11:37:20
Nightcap, haven't we won three in a row?
And yeah, Miami has the tools to stop Brooklyn imo. Both Bam and Tucker and even Butler can all defend KD. Their roster is so elegantly designed.

9.) 15 Mar 2022 15:08:27
I’m with Gasupo on the finals matchup. I like GS vs Milwaukee.

30 Jul 2021 03:01:07
The Knicks just traded Keon Johnson & Kai Jones 🤔

29 Jul 2021 21:11:02
The Sixers asked for Wiggins, Wiseman, 7th & 14th plus 2 future 1sts for Ben Simmons. And the Warriors basically assumed that it was a joke of an offer according to Hoopshype. Lmao Morey.

1.) 30 Jul 2021 14:18:42
Why would they want Wiseman with Embiid.

2.) 31 Jul 2021 12:53:59
Even Siakam ain't worth that much lol.

23 May 2021 21:39:30
What could the Lakers do after a first round exit? They badly need offense.

1.) 24 May 2021 16:53:59
Is there really anything they can do? I can’t see them considering moving Lebron or AD.

They could try to combine KCP and Kuzma together and trade for a big contract. But their actual assets are low, it’s not like they’re going to find an all star.

In the end, they’ll re-tool, but won’t make any major changes. They’re only 7 months removed from winning a championship. They had a bad season with injuries, it happens. I would still call them a top 5 contender next season.

Their biggest concern should continue to be “when does Lebron finally start to age? ”. That’s when the franchise is in trouble.

2.) 24 May 2021 22:47:32
I wouldn’t say in trouble because when James contract is up only Davis and maybe if kuz opts out then only Davis will be under contract as of now. Just a mystery.

3.) 24 May 2021 23:03:13
With no real FA out there to be that 3rd option I think they’d be smart to send out contracts to good quality pieces/ depth

Get a trio like

Reddick (vet Min maybe)
Porter Jr

Instead of spending 20-25 a year for Schroeder

I’d even trade Kuz to Okc for nothing but a future late 1st or some 2nds if Lakers can spend money on 3-5 quality players like that

Dinwiddie/ Caruso
Kcp/ Reddick
Lebron/ Porter
AD/ Morris
Harrell/ Gasol/ FA.

4.) 25 May 2021 02:08:38
They have 121 on books for next year losing denis, Caruso and MatthewS. Can’t see then having anything but minimum to add players without luxury tax.

5.) 25 May 2021 05:42:06
II: I’d call AD and Kuzma and nothing else trouble. NO couldn’t make it anywhere with AD and Jrue. AD and Kuzma is a top 10 (but not top 5) pick team. Deep purgatory.

6.) 25 May 2021 11:35:00
Package Kuzma+KCP+2021first for DeRozen?

7.) 25 May 2021 12:39:10
Fred, do salaries work?

8.) 25 May 2021 19:46:25
It is an S&T for DeRozen so they would sign him to a $$$ that works. After further review, I think there may be an issue with the Lakers being Hard Capped at $143 mil by accepting DeRozen on a S&T.

9.) 26 May 2021 19:28:01
Bmil it's the lakers with AD maybe kuz and lots of cap is not trouble, that's opportunity or that opportunity can go bad then trouble. Plus there going to be lots of free agents so opportunity to be great or trouble.

10.) 26 May 2021 19:37:45
Portland in trouble after Lillard they already got lucky being able to draft him so after him it’s trouble and hope he age good over the next 3 years. I don’t see no star just signing in Portland. In 2023 is loaded with great free agents so I say Lakers In position to sign two them plus keep Davis.

11.) 26 May 2021 21:39:45
Neither team has a great outlook once their best player declines. If your entire franchise hinges on signing a superstar in two years, you’re not in great shape.

12.) 28 May 2021 17:41:23
If James declines the Lakers still have cap space and Davis that could be trouble for the league and they will only owe one pick by then. Like I said 2023 is loaded with great players to play in a great market great women great weather spend to win and get great endorsements in LAker nation. Plus if James declines and wants to continue that means he can take less to add another great player in 2023.

02 Feb 2021 20:59:34
who you got

Giannis with Ray Allen shooting
Doncic with Shaq's strength
Embiid with MJ/Kobe skillset
Jokic with Iverson speed and agility
Steph Curry with Duncan size and skills
Anthony Davis with Magic's passing skills

1.) 02 Feb 2021 22:38:14

2.) 03 Feb 2021 13:51:58
Give giannis Larry bird’s Jumper.

3.) 03 Feb 2021 17:13:04
The Steph/ Duncan combo. It would basically be a better version of Durant.

Talking about a homer trade. Why wouldn't the Suns just take Siakam themselves.

Mmm Orlando ain't trading Wagner for that even if Allen is an allstar, he isn't a high caliber one.

What compensation does Houston get here? Wood is relatively young enough to grow with Green and Porter Jr.

Jazz are already playoff chokers. If you add Simmons, they'll make history.

Congrats. You will get another lottery pick next year to build up more. Anthony Fultz and Suggs. Who would start? Who would come off the bench? Or who is the odd man out?
