Ok BMiller let me check if you are interested

Portland - Houston

Portland get Wood & 17th pick

Houston get 7th pick & Bledsoe (waive)

1.) 24 May 2022 17:34:24
I think if Detroit was roped in to shift 17 and other assets for Grant to Portland, I’d do it. Or maybe Kuzma.

I’d want to make sure I could secure a PF if I’m essentially giving up on Nurkic for Wood.

24 May 2022 09:22:48
Lakers - Nets - Pistons

Lakers get Irving, Grant & Claxton

Nets get Westbrook & AD

McGee (FA)

Pistons get Harris, 2 1sts from Sixers via Nets

24 May 2022 05:09:04
Cleveland - Detroit

Cleveland get Jerami Grant

6th: Love

Detroit get Markkanen, Wiindler & 14th pick

Sharpe (5th)

1.) 24 May 2022 07:47:01
No thanks from Cleveland. I'd consider one of Markkanen or the 14th, but not both.

24 May 2022 00:47:10
Toronto - Houston - Chicago

Toronto get Lavine s&t 4yr max & Tate

Houston get Anunoby & 2nd from Bulls

Banchero (pick)

Chicago get Wood & Trent Jr
* trade Vooch for some depth and start Wood and Williams together?

Trent Jr

1.) 25 May 2022 23:16:05
Terrible trade. Trent Jr is young and he's a much better defender then Lavigne also after one full season and starring guard he's showed a lot of potential to become a good solid all star one day. Plus Lavigne is always injured.

2 trades for the Knicks

Knicks - Pistons

Knicks get Grant

Pistons get 11th pick & Fournier

Knicks - Wolves

Knicks get Russell

Wolves get Dallas 1st, Rose & Kemba

Knicks roster

1.) 21 May 2022 02:29:44
Aside from the fact that the Knicks can’t take on that much money, I’d rather have the Wolves keep dlo for one more year than take on that poopoo platter for a late 1st.

2.) 21 May 2022 02:39:49
i would take #11 and Fournier for Grant. probably the most realistic type of value to get for Jerami.

3.) 21 May 2022 07:23:57
realistically Troy Weaver said he has no issue giving Grant that 4 yr 112 mil extension. i'd rather target a rim protector like Bamba who can finish and space the floor.

would be content if the opening roster looked like this

Cunningham/ Hayes/ Alondes Williams (46)
Mathurin or Ivey (5)/ low-risk FA
Bey/ Livers
Grant/ Bagley
Bamba/ Stewart

other option i see is sending Grant/ Olynyk to PHX in a S&T for Ayton max which would be the ideal scenario.

If Ricky Rubio gets healthy, what is the ideal deal for him? I would love to see him on a Pelicans jersey and be the distributor of what could potentially be one of the best offense in the league.

That's a well rounded 5 right there with a good facilitator

1.) 24 May 2022 07:01:21
I think Pels would be better finding another guard that could shoot, especially when Zion is back and let Ingram run the offense.

12 May 2022 16:37:19
Realistically, is it impossible to trade Russell Westbrook without a pick or any asset attached?

1.) 12 May 2022 18:12:15
Probably no. But this is the NBA, where anything can happen.

2.) 12 May 2022 19:32:58
Teams don't usually don't have $47 mil worth of garbage salary to send back to the Lakers for Westbrook. Therefore teams want picks to compensate for the talent or cap space (salary dump) being sent to the Lakers.

Seriously betting on a waive and stretch of Westbrook if he opts in.

3.) 12 May 2022 20:57:59
The only one that makes sense to me is the Knicks. They’ve got a few contracts (Fournier, Rose, Kemba, Burks) that could be fit together to match Westbrook. They’re not going to compete next year. Maybe they want to shed that extra year of Fournier’s?

4.) 12 May 2022 22:22:22
Maybe if you're trading him to the Knicks.

5.) 12 May 2022 23:54:04
Knicks are going to hold out for a draft pick as they realize that they may be the only team willing to deal.

21 Apr 2022 14:26:55
Gasupo, what's your asking price for Myles Turner?

1.) 21 Apr 2022 14:34:09
There is a report stating that multiple NBA GMs value Turner at expiring salary + late first round pick.

2.) 21 Apr 2022 14:46:24
If that's so i found some interesting deals for him

To Charlotte for Washington, Plumlee and protected 1st
To Dallas for Powell (exp), Burke, future 1st round pick and 2nd round pick.

3.) 21 Apr 2022 17:58:16
Charlotte says no.

4.) 21 Apr 2022 18:11:00
I think Indy want an expiring contract for him and a 2022 or 2023 first round pick.

I see many trade options:

I like the charlotte trade, if they would trade #13
Duren would be a great replacement if he's still available.
I would trow in the cleveland pick, if that pulls the trigger to get Duren. The same go's up for for any team between 8 and 14 that wanted to flip their pick for Turner (and the cleveland pick) .

I'm not high on the Dallas trade. Indy has no use getting that Dallas 25 pick and losing Turner. Doncic would enter his prime, so big chance that's e verry late pick.

I would consider trading Turner to the clippers for Morris and the 28 pick. that pick could go high in the lottery, so it's worth the risk if we can flip Morris in another young talent or draft pick.

I also don't mind taking Westbrook and two draft picks for Turner and Hield. we get capspace in 2023 and those two picks could be good.

I like Avdija, if washington is interested.

5.) 21 Apr 2022 20:09:56
And that is where the crunch lies, GMs want to only give late firsts for Turner. Gasupo wants at least a late lottery pick to draft Turner's replacement.

Will bet that Charlotte will draft Mark Williams @ #13 before trading for Turner (unless Indy is taking on a bad deal like Hayward which I doubt because of the Bridges extension) .

6.) 22 Apr 2022 07:21:23
Isn't trowing in the cleveland pick not enough to get a late lottery pick for Turner?
Turner is a positive asset.
He's on a good contract
He can block
He can shoot a 3 pointer
You know what you get with Turner, a late lottery pick is always risk.

I take Hayward if we get Duren.

7.) 22 Apr 2022 14:15:16
@Gasupo. I think you are over-valuing that Cleveland pick. It is lottery-protected and if it does not convey, it becomes 2 second rounders 2-3 years from then. At best, I would say it's value is a late first round (#25-#30) pick on this current draft.

2 late firsts (Cleveland pick + Turner) usually does not get a late lottery pick. It gets one something in the #15-#20 range.

8.) 22 Apr 2022 17:59:57
Charlotte has two picks in this draft and no pick next year. So maybe they like a swap with the cleveland pick. It can conveye in two second rounders, but there's a big chance cleveland make the playoffs next year. Mobley and Garland will both be better and Sexton will be back.

And Turner is a sure thing. He's a good third or fourth option, can shoot a three and he can defend the paint.
What's the chance drafting a player like Turner with #13?
It's possible, Giannis, Adebayo, J 'O Neal were drafted late (Jokic was Lucky shot), but most players drafted outside the top ten have a short NBA career or become bench players.
Charlotte has a good core with Lamelo-Bridges and Rozier. turner is a good fit in that team.

So I think turner+ that cleveland pick is a good combination for charlotte.

9.) 23 Apr 2022 01:29:04
Questioning the "defend the paint" claim. What was Indy's defense rating this season? 28th? When is the last time they had a top 10 defense rating?

And it is very telling that you do not mention Turner's substandard rebounding stats. You know, that thing that big men really need to do for their team. On Charlotte, Matt Williams will probably have a higher rebounds+blocks total than Turner (playing the same minutes) .

Lastly, 5 years of Mark Williams is probably better than 1 remaining year left on Turner's contract.

10.) 23 Apr 2022 07:34:29
A lot more goes into team defense just than one player. I remember making a comment about Holmes and the kings having the worst paint defense and you stated it being due to their permitted defense allowing too much penetration.

Well imagine having to have Sabonis guards forwards and the perimeter. I read last season Sabonis led the league in distance traveled defensively per game which is just atrocious and a big part of that defensive rating.

If you look at the games without Turner, they’re noticeably worse w/ o him on the court.

11.) 24 Apr 2022 13:09:35
@NBA16. I could say the sane thing when DMC missed games for the Kings. That does make DMC (or Turner) great "interior defenders".

16 Apr 2022 02:37:58
Hawks Cavs game showed how important it is to have a number 1 option and the difference is very clear. Trae Young owned them.

1.) 17 Apr 2022 00:57:33
And sadly this Grizz/ Twolves series can show why’s it’s important to have multiple top options rather than just one.

08 Feb 2022 19:01:37
So Haliburton for Sabonis + minor pieces. Interesting

It's ok to aim high Fred, but your proposals are somehow ridiculous to the other teams just like when you proposed a Barnes + Holmes for Siakam.

Give the Jazz the number 13 too because imo, it's not enough for them.
