Hornets - Doncic

Mavs - Bouknight, M.Williams, G.Haward, 2 firsts

Well Bouknight is worth a first, and Williams is worth a first, and Hayward will be a good veteran to teach young team right. They could throw in Kai Jones cause there is another first, and now we are equal to 5 first round picks!!!!!! I mean sounds right dont you guys agree?

Your english and typos are better than mine. ; ) Basically Williams is a good asset, his value is a good 1st, Bouknight (right name? ) a late first, so the offer is like 4x1st - a lot! But neither Mavs nor Donic consider a trade, Mavs "process" is growing up - compared to Philly, where the process has to restart and Embiid has only some years left, why he wants to join a contending team - what are you wowes for, to have Embiid and Kyrie around Luka and Williams, Green as 3&D is the best possible grid you can build with Embiid "right now". Embiid has played with Butler already and to exchange Embiid with Randle or Allen will not improve that teams that much as Dalles would become improved to contention. Maybe Celtics, Suns or Warriors, but Dallas has not only the 4x1st picks that you can ask for a trade of Embiid, they have a nice, young replacement in Lively to build around - so Philly gets simple a good match from Dallas and Embiid gets a chance to win - that is what he asks for, if there is no "voice" of Embiid wanna go to Dallas, such a trade may not happen - but there is!

Worst kept secret is Donavon Mitchell wanting to be a Knick. As a Knick fan I am not sure I want to have such a small backcourt, but any chance to involve Harden?

NYK - Mitchell, Wade, Kormkaz

Cle - Harden, 1 unprotect from NYK, and 1 protected from NYK, save over 3 million as they are close to being under tax line.

Phi - Barrett, Fournier, 1 Protected from NYK

Pacers go full rebuild around young guys.

Pacers get: Westbrook(buyout), Reaves, Lakers next available 1st, Dallas 1st from Knicks

Knicks get: Brogden

Lakers get: Randle, Heild

I can't see the Knicks doing Randle and a 1st for Brogden.

2.) 13 Apr 2022 20:01:03
Trying to picture Randle in LA behind LeBron and AD. Just not seeing it.

Type of player trading Ingram/ball and two 1st get you.

Beal
McCollum
Middleton
T.harris

Not Davis!

1.) 02 Jan 2019 19:06:32
Agreed. Ingram has average value with his efficiency not improving. Ball's value is about as low as it has been.

If I was offered Ingram, Ball, and a first for any of those 4, I'd probably pass.

Kuzma is the asset. You want an all star or borderline all star in a trade, he has to be included. Him and Tatum are the assets that Boston and LA don't want to let go, and they're the ones that would have to be included.

2.) 02 Jan 2019 20:34:13
I would pass on the Mccollum, Middleton, Beal one for sure. T. Harris? I'd kick the tires.

3.) 02 Jan 2019 21:36:49
That wouldn't get you any of those players.

4.) 03 Jan 2019 01:24:03
Are you guys nuts? Aren’t Middleton and Harris expiring contracts? May even get beal. Won’t get McCollum but just stop it. I’m not a lakers fan in the least but don’t act like they are valueless. Especially for an expiring like Harris or Middleton, two players that have made a combined zero all star games.

5.) 03 Jan 2019 03:39:46
Part of the problem is that guys line McCollum and Middleton have more value to the team they’re on than in a trade.

6.) 03 Jan 2019 04:07:52
Bmiller - if Middleton says he leaving they might trade him.

7.) 03 Jan 2019 11:49:02
Ingram is showing promise as a facilitator but in comparison to Durant his shooting is a ways off. Durant was a bad defender too, likewise with Ingram. Ball has the same problems with shooting, is a good facilitator, has good size. 2 projected late picks. I was just thinking If I could replace the player for that. Expiring, in an exit situation definitely would be dumb to trade Ingram, Ball, 2 picks for.

8.) 03 Jan 2019 15:56:39
How many all stars do ball Ingram and that very late 1st that's going to be have 0 and they're not close to that level you're nuts to say those 2 players are not all star type players.

9.) 03 Jan 2019 16:08:14
If I was Lakers I would only trade for Beal. Harris and Middleton if they wanted to join lakers have cap for them so no need to trade. That's just a little to much for cj. Lakers can save hart kuzma plus have James and Beal then in 2020 have cap for davis. to me Beal one the best shot creators in the league. James would love that.

10.) 03 Jan 2019 16:35:55
I get that those guys have never made an all star game, but I don't think Ingram or Ball ever will either.

Ball's future is being somewhere between 12-18 in the rankings of starting PGs. He's Ricky Rubio.

Comparing Ingram to Durant is unfair, he's not close to him. Ingram is a poor man's Melo (or wing version of Kanter? ) . Volume scorer with no efficiency and a bit of a black hole.

Those two firsts are 20+.

For a top 50 player in the NBA (all of those guys are there), that's exactly zero high end assets that match their quality.

11.) 03 Jan 2019 17:04:43
They say asking price for beal is a young asset, expiring contract and two first. Ingram pope and two first. Since the first would be 16-24 they can have ball and throw in Beasly and Stevenson for Ariza.
Beal and Ariza for ball Ingram pope Beasley and Stevenson plus two first.

Porter can get traded to Orlando or Sacramento. Both can use him to push for playoff run especially Orlando.

12.) 03 Jan 2019 17:04:55
Thats your argument thrillhouse? Ball and ingram failed to make the all star team in the 3 years they played. that equates to harris and middleton failing to make the all star game in the 13 complete seasons between them?

Just stop it. Those two are very good starters. They are not number 1s. So to try and claim they are more valuable, has half season rentals, then comparable players that are young and 2 1sts. you just come off as a homer and a lakers hater.

Again, I don't like the lakers. But I can at least separate emotions and rational thinking.

13.) 03 Jan 2019 17:35:02
Beal would fix a lot of problems for the Lakers. Not sure what the Wiz are doing and who's wheeling and dealing. Orlando isn't in the playoff hunt really, DET is better and CHA and Miami also look like they are better. Orlando has a pick, SAC doesn't so Porter might make it west, not sure.

14.) 03 Jan 2019 18:57:18
Look those Lakers players aren't ever going to be number ones probably not even number twos but the Middleton and Harris are number twos and all star caliber players and the pieces from the Lakers might not even have that upside they're definitely never going to be number one options.

15.) 04 Jan 2019 07:10:37
There still young to improve but middle at his peak and cj still figuring things out.

I have to ask. Are you referring to Barnes or Mitchell as the best player?

Make the draft picks 2nd rounders and you are on to something.

You do realize teams would offer better young guys, that in your eyes equal a first round pick, PLUS! they would offer 4 more 1st round picks and pick swaps. By your calculations other teams are offering equal to 7 or 8 first round picks then to Dallas 4 guys and one pick.
