76ers trade Harris, Horford, Smith & 2020, 2022 & 2024 1st round picks to Bulls for Young, Porter Jr, Satoransky, Felicio, Korner & Archidiacano. Sixers won't break up Simmons & Embied. They traded for Harris & signed Horford to get them over the hump, but neither player fit in. They get the $65 million the Bulls had saved for 2021 free agent class plus 3 role players (Young, Porter Jr & Satoransky) that fit better. Bulls give up being players in free agency, but get 2 vets that help their core four right now plus 3 late picks they can develop.

smunro, take a look at 2021 free agent list. 76s give 3 late 1st round picks to add 2 superstars to go with Simmons and Embied.

Bulls get: Romeo Landford, #17,26 & 30
Celtics get: #7.
There is historical precedent for this deal. In the 2001 NBA draft, Tickets traded #13,18 & 23 to the Nets for #7.
Since those 3 picks are better than their current picks, the Celtics throw in Langford as a sweetener in the deal. Those picks are useless for Boston anyway & #7 will get them a player that fits with what Ainge & Stevens are trying to do. The Bulls new front office can add SF at 17, a big at 26 & a backup PG at 30.

I don’t think the Bulls are in a place to trade down. They need top end talent, as they have none.

Bmiller 66, do you remember the old Clipper teams of the past? They'd be in the lottery for 5 straight years, they'd draft one of the top scorers in college basketball and 5 years later they had a roster that didn't play defense and wouldn't share the ball. If Bulls brass think Carter, Markennan, Lavine and White are the nucleus of the team, they need to build a roster around them. They get a SF (Bey, Nesmith, Williams) at 17, A big (Carey, Stewart, Orturo) at 27 and a PG (Jones, Mannion, Dotson) at 30.

Lots of talk about Lavine S&T including picks in this year's draft, but the draft is on 6/ 23 and Lavine can't go anywhere until after 7/ 1, so it's a moot point. Besides, I would never make that King's trade in a million years.
