If Dalcon was a Raptors fan, this would be a deal for him.
If Giannis and Embiid decided to get together and form an AllAfrica pro team, they would choose to do it in Toronto, because the Raptors already have Siakam, Anunoby, Achiuwa and Koloko. So here's how the deals go.
Toronto sends - Barnes and Trent (opted in) to Milwaukee for Giannis Antetokuompo
Toronto sends - vanVleet, Young and Porter to Philly for Joel Embiid
Toronto sends - Flynn to Miami for Gabe Vincent
Toronto sends - Harper to Warriors for Jonathan Kuminga
Toronto sends - Boucher to Orlando for Bol Bol
Toronto signs Emmanuel Mudiay from the G League
Toronto sends - Poetl (s&t) to Memphis for Desmond Bane
Toronto sends - Downtin to Cleveland for Isaac Okoro
Toronto sends - Weiskamp to Atlanta for Onyeka Okongwu
Toronto signs - 2 of Giannis's brothers to 2 way deals
Of course, we'll need an African coach, so we'll replace Nurse with Ime Udoka.
Obviously all of Toronto's 1st and 2nd round picks will go, and all pick swaps as well.
Starters - Vincent, Anunoby, Giannis, Siakam, Embiid
Bench - Bane, Okungwu, Kuminga, Achiuwa, Mudiay, Bol, Okoro, Koloko and the brothers Antetokuompo

@NBA16 - is there a trade that can be built featuring Trent for Brooks... Memphis would have to add some salary likely, and I don't think we'd give up anybody more valuable than Trent, but Brooks might be a nice fit at the 2 for the Raptors

Idk if Grizz would be interested much in Trent. We already have our SG and shooter in Bane. Brooks is our best perimeter defender and will be the one that will guard the opposing best player in the playoffs.
Don’t think they’d wanna pay Trent what he’s asking as well.

Toronto uses Dragic TPE to bring Joseph's salary in, and sending out Flynn keeps them under the tax line. Nurse has coached Cory with the Canadian team, and if he trusts him enough to approve this deal he'll get more opportunity than Flynn seems to be able to earn.
Detroit gets 2 years control of a young player that can challenge Killian Hayes for the backup point minutes. They also save 3M, which doesn't matter for their cap, but might make a big difference on the bottom line.

I believe the CBA prevents a team from trading a coach for any players. can only be draft picks. but also, traditionally teams let their management (&coaching staff) go without compensation if it involves a promotion. like Raptors getting nothing from milwaukee for Adrian Griffin. Sorry Fred, but if Toronto decides they want Rudi you won't be getting anything back. And if Toronto were to trade OG it wouldn't be for a veteran unless it was a bigger deal for a star.

you can't trade for a player (Lowry, Boucher) and then immediately package him with other players to trade him again. You either need to structure this as one 5 team trade (good luck) or find a way to do the second deals (lowry to toronto, boucher to suns) without adding other players. so yeah, that's not likely to work either.

Spurs can't sign and trade a player that is not their free agent. Philly would have to sign, and then trade, Harden. So what is Philly getting in the deal?

I do believe you are right about the future direction. My best guess is they hire after the lottery, which, if they got really lucky, could change that direction. I expect after that they'll move before the draft, as they will want the new coach to have input to whatever picks and/ or deals come up.
I'm really quite amazed how quiet the process has been for the Raptors. pretty much only Redick and Becky have been leaked as having interviews. But the Raptors also expect to lose some assistants and are interviewing for those roles also.
Some of the head coach interviewees may be more realistic for an assistant job (cough, cough Reddick, but not Hamman).
It's been 5 years since the Raptors have hired a head coach. I expect I'll hear more names that don't impress much, but i won't get concerned about it until the hire is announced.

from the nets side this means Durant, Irving, Simmons, and Mills for LaMelo and Mitchell. I think they like the guys and picks they got better.

You're asking the wrong question. Raptors don't care what fair value is in a trade for OG because they like him and want to keep him. The real question is how much of and overpay would a team have to offer to get the Raptors to part with him.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Raptors take Leonard Miller or Rayan Rupert at 13. Might be a reach, but if either are still available they fit the Raptors profile.

Selfishly I hope Nick gets whatever job he wants as long as his new boss is OK with him continuing to coach the Canadian national team. High hopes for this year's Worlds and the next Olympics with Shae leading the way.

I think its a leave no stone unturned kind of search. They have 3 prime inhouse candidates, 3 natural candidates that used to coach for the Raptors and several other big names being thrown around. I'm not sure what Masai and Bobby are looking for but they did look far and wide before offering Nick Nurse his promotion 5 years ago.
