Why it works, Bennett really looking like a bust but he's Canadian and comes cheaper than Vasquez, while Vasquez produces more. Patty P is a useful backup PF and is still young while Shabazz Muhammad is young and has upside and his PER is amazing and could win multiple 6th man of year awards.
Vasquez = Bennett (Vasquez tiny bit better)
Patty P + 2nd = Muhummad
I would also like to trade down to around CLE pick
CLE - Joe Harris, 24th
TOR - 20th
Why it works, Cleveland could move up and nab a guy that could work for them now but not in the long run and Toronto could draft more of a project, I think Montrezl Harrell is a great choice at SF/PF. And they get a raw prospect that has virtually no point in being on the Cavs.

Lebron runs the show. If he wants somebody, he gets that somebody. If he doesn't want that somebody, they don't stay. Clearly he's had his issues with bonehead teammates such as J.R. and Shumpert, and miscommunications with "third wheel" Love. His best friend Dwayne Wade could be hitting the open market and a ruinion could be in store, but they need the cap space.

Everybody you have traded to ORL is a FA. Only way to trade them is S&T and you can't do that with this year's draft picks.

Last year, Phili managed to exploit the fact that Orlando was looking at one, and only one, prospect. Now you have them trading that player (who's lived up to expectations) so they can nab a player who they like a little better than other prospects who could be there at the 5?
The Magic FO would call the bluff with settling for a slightly-less favored prospect as the worst possible outcome.

I could see the Lakers giving ONE OF the 2nd pick or Randle for Melo, but not both.
You can say the Lakers don't want him, but the fact remains that Tinseltown likes their stars, and for better and worse Melo is one.
