First trade. no where close on salaries, besides, clippers are NOT taking on verajo for 3 years. Second, joe johnson is 15 million more than haywood. No where near doable.
Add onto. I get it, ownership has a lot of money. But to take on someone like joe johnson, youd be spending SO much money its absurd. You also have shumpert as the 2nd sg. 10 mill for a back up sg? crawford who you trade for is THIRD sg. And smith, a guy you don't have signed and likely won't sign is your starter.
Throw onto it, you have boozer and stoudimire for the vet min. and BOTH you have pegged for centers? Stoudamire will NOT sign for a vet minimum, especially to be the 3rd center? And he's behind boozer? Who isn't big enough to play center?

The Cavs would have to trade Haywood and Varejao to the Nets for Joe Johnson in order to make the salaries match. I could see the Cavs signing Stoudemire OR Boozer to a veteran minimum contract but I highly doubt they would sign both considering STAT and Boozer play the same position.

Why would boozer and amare sign to be the 3rd pf & c when they can go to teams like the clippers, suns, Dallas, etc and possibly start or be 2nd at their position
