Per the report, Durant met with team owner Joseph Tsai over the weekend and told him to choose between himself and the pairing of head coach Steve Nash and general manager Sean Marks.

Sean Marks is a fantastic GM. He was given the job after the horrible KG, Pierce trade. He made the most out of the situation & eventually was able to sign KD & Kyrie. It isn't his fault that Kyrie is a headcase. Irving was still in his prime & there were high hopes for him.

I have been a KD fan but no longer. Sean Marks has done a very good job of rebuilding the Nets after the KG/ Truth trade that decimated the franchise for years. Nash is coach because KD and Irving wanted him. Now KD wants them out because his little buddy doesn't want to show up for work? Tsai and Marks will take whichever team trades for him to the cleaners, so I hope its anybody but the Raptors who end up making the deal. Yes, this is a reversal from what I said a few weeks ago. At this point I'm happy if the Raptors don't engage on Durant or Mitchell. This is a dedicated bunch of players who want to improve and win. happy to see them get that chance.

@windrapsfan I feel the same way about the Cavs. I'd rather see them grow than trade for disgruntled stars. KD turns 34 next month. Whoever trades the farm for him will probably be making a huge mistake. Kyrie's situation is even worse. He's truly turned into a headcase. Wherever he goes, he'll ruin the chemistry of that team & the locker room as well.

i read in local rag that raptors offer has also become less after this report. can you imagine being durant's next coach or GM?
